Tons of connection issues (playing from China)

Recently moved to China from the UK and I'm experiencing a number of frustrating errors that I'm positive are at least partially caused by the Great Firewall, but I have no known solutions to these issues:

Very consistently getting ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_RESET errors when attempting to update the game in the launcher, making it very hard actually get into the game

Sometimes when I'm in the login screen in-game, it will give me "Incorrect username/password" error even if the input is actually correct, forcing me to login multiple times

Very frequently, the game will give me the "Networking not responding" message on screen, causing everything on a mission to freeze in place for anything from 2-15 seconds. Rarely these will lead to me getting pulled from the game straight back to the login screen, forfeiting all mission rewards.

Lastly, attempting to trade is extremely buggy. Often times the trade UI screens will take 2 minutes to load, trades won't register until after I log out, multiple trade sessions open concurrently, etc. It's an absolute mess and this happens 90% of the time.

I have a VPN that I would normally use to bypass these issues, but as I understand it, Warframe does not allow you to play or login via VPN, and as a result I have no real control over my play experience.

I was not aware of this. The only thing I have come across is using a VPN to get stuff cheaper (plat, PA etc). As far as I recall there was no issue with this. Maybe ask Support.

When I try accessing the launcher with my VPN on it times out immediately every time, as soon as I switch it off, the launcher works, albeit haphazardly. When I looked online for solutions, that was the answer I came up with (VPNs are blocked to prevent low-price Plat buying)

Ah, that will be my mistake then. Last I heard this was not the case. You could use a VPN if you wanted to. You could not use one to get anything cheaper - this just got you banned until 2035.

I am still going to suggest asking Support about your problem though. They might have some solutions/troubleshooting tips.
