It's far more like that DE will stick to the schedule, for logistical reasons. Bows didn't get 'fixed' by accident. Ivara/Titania/Inaros/Nezha The context of what I said was Nova replaced another female frame to be primed, so under the assumption that DE maintains the MMFF prime releases, I don't really know of any female frames that are so much more popular that DE would switched it up (except maybe Wisp, but she's too new). Inaros and Nezha are both male frames, and their popularity just means DE probably won't switch up their releases with another male frame.
BlindStalker
On 2019-09-17 at 5:59 PM, Carnage2K4 said: The date of an unreleased Prime is just assumed to be 3 months after the last (might put an 'approximate' symbol from now on), it's always off by a few days, you can see the variation on past releases, and it seems Atlas will be a little early, Atlas Prime Access should be out within 24H of Wukong PA going down. This specific table is compiled on a personal google sheet of mine, but I keep it updated on my 'About Me' on my forum profile. It's hard to tell if it will affect Ivara Prime but without knowing the future or DEs release schedule (barring any dev issues) we can only assume Ivara will come out about 3 months after Atlas +/- a week. I understand it's an educated guess for Ivara's eta based on past release dates, its helpful as it gives a ballpark idea, thank you again. Most people realize she can scale almost endlessly, but it's hard to deny the fact that everything she does is slow and methodical in a game where most of the players crave speed. With that said, I love Ivara and would be greatly disappointed if they skipped her. I'm looking at the eta schedule data compiled by Carnage2K4 and so I'm making some guesses about this. Jan 1st, 2020 is a very odd date to release a holiday prime on as that is past the date of Christmas. Previous holiday primes aimed at trying to release before Christmas day (Mirage Prime and Mesa Prime I'm specifically looking at in particular), and I think the whole point of trying to release a prime before Christmas day is to get in on the opportune time of when people are still spending money during the holidays. After Christmas though, I think people stop spending as much because all the Christmas/holiday gift shopping is done and are bought at that point. Plus in Commonwealth countries we have this other thing called Boxing Day (Dec.26) where retailers are trying to get rid of the rest of their inventory stock to make room for new stock so whatever they couldn't sell, they try to desperately sell now and so more money is spent before the start of the new year. By January, I think most people start trying to go back to a state of saving money for the upcoming year. So if Ivara were supposedly to get exchanged with some other frame, I don't think the exchanged frame would do well on a Jan 1st, 2020 release date, so maybe Ivara might still come within 3 months? But I'm also hugely speculating this and its true what Carnage2K4 said and that its likely some frame will get released 3 months (+/- a week as well) after Atlas Prime. Just got to wait and see for now. I'm trying to rationalize anything that brings Ivara prime closer to us.
