Earliest I can obtain Mesa?

Question

Hi! Newbie here. Mesa's design is straight fire and I want her real bad, but I'm not super far into the game yet. Love me some yeehaw gunslingers, man.

All I know is that obtaining her is a bit of a drag (something about needing a key? rip I don't know I've only been playing for like a week and then some forgive me).

I've unlocked up to Europa so far and I'm just wondering how far away I am, progression-wise, from being able to unlock the mission to earn her?

The game is great, though. I can't believe I didn't get into it sooner!

Dang, really? I haven't even considered trying to get prime frames yet LOL. Just kind of shoved all that under "stuff to worry about later". Cool, I guess I'll be looking up which relics she drops from, then. Thanks for the tip!

Currently on warframe.market a mesa prime set is 85 platinum (https://warframe.market/items/mesa_prime_set). It would be much easier to get that platinum than farming relics or the real mesa. Vanilla Mesa requires getting special nav coords which can take a long time to actually get (I think rotation B in orokin derelict defence which is at 15 minutes), and farming relics is a pain because of drop rates of both relevant relics AND the actual parts. Generally you can sell prime parts at 5:13, which means if you speed-run a relic mission (est. 3 minutes per run), you can get her in under 2 hours (math says 1 hr 38 min). Of course, if you get valuable primes they may sell for more, but this is a consistent way to earn platinum, and is how i used to buy all the armour sets and stuff i wanted!

Yep.... some Warframe Grinds are such a pain in the ass to get that the Prime versions are just easier to Aquire Mesa definitely is one if them....

The others are:

Equinox (most recent)

Chroma

Saryn

And maybe even Trinity

The fact that some of these warframes are vaulted and yet still are easier to aquire than the non Prime versions just goes to show how much of a Grind this is....

And then you have Nidus, Harrow & Khora.... which is an entirely different story all together....

if you have a friend(s) with the mutalist alad v keys you could farm for mesa parts on day one

while a mesa prime is a mr 2 lock, an would require abit of farming ot get relics. an then have you work through the nightwave to get credits to buy some nitain

but overall with farming an grinding could take a week the earlyiest as generious guess

Thanks for the info guys! Good stuff I'll keep in mind as I keep playing, heh.

Equniox is another frame that you should farm from relics directly.  You are framing for 2 frames to get the normal one (9 parts) and it cost 200K to build. The prime version is your standard 4 parts farm.

Ah yeah, I heard about that one! Yikes LOL! I'm glad the prime version isn't also 9 parts. Can't imagine farming all that with the RNG of the relics.
