JYu0828
When I was going to scan Ostron Artisans statuette in the pool, I found a bug. I need to use a mounted turret to shoot the blades of the windmill to disable the windmill and drain the water pool. However, even I've tried many times to aim at and shoot the windmill, it still cannot be disabled. Hope you can fix it soon. Thank you.
Luxomino
In the Plains of Eidolon, you can scan these little statuettes called "1,000 Year Old Fish Statuette". One such statuette requires you to disable a windmill on the coast using a rampart turret. You're supposed to shoot the blades of the windmill to cause them to fault forward, thus disabling the windmill, allowing you to access a console, then disabling a propeller blocking the statuette. Since the recent hotfixes the windmill blades are impervious to all forms of damage, including the rampart turret required to complete the scan. Since the windmill blades no longer fault do to this bug, the statuette is no longer scannable. I have 19/20 of these statuettes, and this is the last one I'm missing. --TDP--Kuutsa
i have the same exact issue it the blades wont fold in so i could hack the console pls fix
Sou1Warden
I don't know if it's exactly immune to the damage, but i've been having this problem as well. I decided to do all the thousand year old fish scans today, and have unloaded dozens of full magazines with the rampart into every part of the windmill arms. I tried shooting the oranges parts, the yellow lights, the little sails, the center, and pole of the windmill itself, etc.
--Kuro--
i'm also having this issue and it doesn't seem like DE is going to do anything about it
--Kuro--
DE please get your act together and fix the issues that have unexpectedly been created. Edited July 27, 2019 by Kurokoro2980 A bit harsh
--Kuro--
Since the updates to Plains of Eidolon it is now impossible to destroy the windmill that sits in the west of PoE. Previously you would use a Rampart to destroy the blades of the windmill to then be able to hack the console and stop the turbine thus being able to scan the fish statuette. Now since the windmill cannot be destroyed it is impossible. DE please fix this as I want to know more about the Lore that you have created and I'd like the codex to be complete. Hope you see this and work it into your next hotfix. Edited July 27, 2019 by Kurokoro2980
--Kuro--
It cannot be completed anymore thanks to the updates to PoE. dont think they'll be fixing it any time soon.

Blazin_Serpent
The method from the wiki is not working...I shoot that windmill for 20mins and never did 1 arm fold in.. -Inside the orange Grineer Water Treatment whirlpool southwest of Cetus, the "Ostron Artisans" entry can be found. To find it, hit the windmill with the nearby Rampart gun emplacement until the windmill vanes fold inwards. This will activate the console at the base of the windmill. Hacking the console will drain the treatment tank, allowing access to the fragment. Edited July 27, 2019 by Blazin_Serpent
CrimsonCrossaim
Could someone confirm that this is still doable or give me some pointers on how to scan the glass fish please.
Myscho
It is, you have to shoot down blades of mill, activate the console which drain the water and then you can scan the fish

The blades do not take any damage so the blades will not fold.
--Kuro--
Due to some kind of error in an update or something the sails are now unable to take damage. this makes it impossible to scan the fish. This will remain impossible until DE fixes it
Nichivo
It can be done, but you have to shoot them with the turret that is out front. Just tested it's now broken, just like scans of unaffiliated animals are broken, on POE. Edited July 30, 2019 by Nichivo

Syluxmaster
The Thousand Year Fish Statuette in the water near the grineer treatment is unscanable. You are supposed to shoot the windmill with the rampart thats nearby so you can hack the console that drains the water. But it doesnt work, i can shoot the windmill all i want, nothing happens. Archangel_Bob
Same problem here. I've also checked the Wiki; comments within the last 24 hours include failure for windmill to close as well as blind scan not working.
--Kuro--
This error has begun to be reported around 26-27th July. It's not just in the last 24 hours unfortunately. It's the last fish I need to scan and I'm a little disappointed. Signs point to a recent hotfix
