Nightwave, shade, wepons for new players and more

I have a few questions so I am going to list them:

-I have done quite a few nightwave challenges, I know I get something for them but I don’t know how to redeem points and spend them

-Shade looks like a useful companion, does the invisibility hide you from spy vault drones?

-What do cameras do? Because there have been times where they don’t set off the alarms and times when they do

-I got an Orikin catalyst and reactor from alerts what should I use them on (I already have a heck with a reactor, in terms of warframes I have frost and Excalibur)

-I am still using the default secondary and melee, any recommendations (I am mr 4)

-Should I upgrade my broken flow, continuity and intensify because it could be a while before I get non broken equivalents.

-I don’t have many shotgun mods, do I have a higher drop chance for them whilst using my hek?

1. Once you get yourself some Creds, you can spend them in the Cred Offerings store. Check the button at the bottom of the Nightwave page.

2. Eh. Unfortunately, Shade's invisibility is proximity-based. You have to be close to an enemy in order for it activate, and the moment you're outside the radius, it decloaks. Get stealth frames instead.

3. Outside of Spy vaults, cameras activate turrets that shoot at you and laser grids at doorways that damage and knock you down. Inside Spy vaults, they activate the alarms.

4. Hek is good, and will last you a while. Excalibur is probably more versatile than Frost, so I would go for that first, or get Rhino.

5. I'll have to check the wiki for that.

6. Sure. Soon, semi-decent amounts of Endo and Credits won't be too difficult to come by, so just upgrade those broken mods for now.

7. Nope. Drops have static RNG that is not affected by the weapons you wield.

As I said, I'll come back with some MR 4 weapon recommendations.

-as you do nightwave you get standing. every 10k standing is a reward. Some of the rewards are unique currency. This season they are called Emissary Cred. These credits are spent in a store you can access at the lower right of the NIghtwave standing screen. https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Nightwave

-Shade will only cloak you when you are near enemies. So if you run up behind a drone, it can cloak you before it turns around. But Shade is a bit finicky compared to more reliable frame powers like Ash, Loki, Ivara.

-Cameras will activate ceiling turrets and laser walls on doors. In spy vaults, they will activate the data deletion with possible turrets.

-Catalysts and reactors are useful for any frame or weapon you like using. They are not super rare. every Dev stream (every other week or so will have alerts for them afterward. Invasions can reward them. Nightwave lvl rewards or bought with nightwave credits, daily sorties when you have geared up enough for them.

-Lex or akLex is a good hard hitting secondary. For melee, anything is fine early on. you can get a free heat sword with the promo code FREESWORD. at bottom of marketplace window you can enter it.

-flawed mods will not level as high as normal mods, but they cost less to equip at the same respective levels, good to keep around for brand new frames with little mod space.

-mods are on specific enemies or missions. like the very important damage +% shotgun mod Point Blank

Alright, here are some decent Secondaries and melee at MR4:

Secondaries: Lex is strong and accurate hand cannon, almost like a Vectis in a pistol. Highly recommended. I would also give Sonicor and Vasto a try as well.

Melee: Cassowar, Galatine, Guandao, Volnus, Atterax, Orthos Prime, Tonbo, Ack & Brunt. Many decent options. There are probably more.

I disliked the Lex, but the Sonicor is both good and very fun to play. Your enemies will fly thru the air and you'll see sparks when firing.

For melee, Orthos prime is an excellent staff.

It doesn't hide you from anything. Shade Doesn't work...

You get "Emmisary Cred" from specific rewards on the Nightwave reward list.... you can redeem them by going to the nightwave screen and viewing their offerings.

Welcome to Warframe.... consistency doesn't exist here....

Hmmmmm.... if you can build The Atomos then you can use it on that.... its a reliable secobdary weapon if you'ee willing to sink enough endo into your Pistol Mods...

I would suggest hanging on to the reactor.... just for now....

Visit your Clan's Dojo.... I Theres actually a few Solid Options in The Tenno Lab, Energy Lab and Bio Lab.... but those are around MR 7

I think The Nukor is a solid if not Hilarious option at lower MR....

Ok thanks for the replies, So get lex (if I don’t like it I will get sonicor), save the reactor but use the catalyst on anything that I will be using for a while. For melee I think galatine looks good

 

Also more questions: 

- In terms of factions I am going with steel meridian and cephalon Suda to get 4 positive factions. Is this a good idea as I already have a good buffer on red veil as I played as them at the start.

-Are there any must have warframes that I should try and get?

-What is the best way to go about getting neural sensors, orkin cell and other resources that seem to be really rare outside their specific things ie cell stabiliser for Orokin cells. I already use a maxed out thieves wit.

-I have seen in videos that people have purple and white rarity mods, what are these?

-what is are operators and when do I unlock them?

This is mostly personal preference but I will say micromanaging 4 Syndicates is extremely exhausting....

Most players just manage two or three....

You can do the top 3 or the bottom 3 without any conflict between them....

Indeed there are.... but rather than listing specifics its best to just get one for each Category....

A defense frame

A tank

A support

A DPS Frame

A Nuke Frame...

And a Stealth Frame. 

My reccomendation for each category would be...

Gara for Defense

Nezha/Rhino for Tanking

Trinity for Support

Mesa/Chroma for DPS

Equinox/Volt For Nuking

Limbo for stealth.... yes... Limbo is infact a stealth Frame....

And for your All purpose Frame that can do almost all those things I recommend Nova....

This is a special precept for The Smeeta Kavat Companion that grants a variety of random buffs. 

2 Of Them help with resources.... the 1st one will occasionally just toss whatever the rarest resource on that planet is into your inventory during a mission.... and the 2Nd one will double any resources you pick up within the next 2 Minutes while the buff is active.

It goes without saying that you should choose your missions around how the mod works....

Basically it just isn't worth using if you speed run captures in 90 Seconds but its extremely useful if you're doing  endurances missions. It also goes without saying that you must invest into your Kavat's survivability for it to be consistent.... its not going to work if your kavat gets killed constantly. 

You can also use Loot Frames to help you get resources from Enemies

Hydroid (Pilfering Swarm)

Nekros (Despoil)

Khora (Pilfering Dangle Dome)

Those are Riven Mods and Primed Mods...

Primed Mods are more powerful versions exhisting mods.... for example.

The Void Trader brings a random selection of these mods to a relay once every two weekends... he's coming this friday.... The Void trader will only trade for a unique currency called Ducats... you aquire ducats by selling your primed parts to a ducat kiosk in a relay.

 

As for Riven Mods...

These are mods for Specific Weapons and they can have random Stats.... players Can randomize the stats by pouring some Spoiler Juice on it....

The first word on the riven tells you which weapon its for.... the one in the picture is for the Penta.... and this applies to any variation if that weapon too.... so this riven mod will work on The Secura Penta aswel...

You'l get your Answer when you complete a quest called "The 2nd Dream"...

Just work your way up The Star Chart and doing your Junctions and eventually you'l arrive on Uranus... thats where you gain access to The 2nd Dream....

Don't google the quest... just focus on the junctions...

-I don’t really care about cosmetics so what would you recommend from nightwave.

Limbo's rift ability allows you to bypass almost anything. The exception is enemies with bubbles.

Capture mission? Run past all enemies while in rift, then exit to capture, then back in rift to the exit. Speed run with 0 kills.

Spy mission? Lasers don't trigger while you're in the rift.

I honestly can't say.... 

Maybe....

Some of these Warframe take a while to a aquire or rely on mods that take a while to aquire so theres no need to spend your Platinum All at once unless you've planned your Progression around that...

Its just killing a large amount of enenies in about 3-5 Seconds....and by large I mean roughly 30 or more enemies in a 50 Meter radius.....

Honestly.... he isn't.... but he's one of the only Warframes that can by passes one of the most annoying obstacles in Spy Missions.... The Lazers and Magnetic Sensors without tripping them.... 

He can still be detected by Camera and Enemies.... but Cameras can be destroyed (including by limbo himself) and Enemies can be Kill or even Frozen in place.....

Nitain Extract....you need alot of these tightly packed Jars of Frustration and Nightwave is the only way to get them....

If you your Syndicates require any Potatoes (Orkokin Catalysts/Reactors) to rank up then its fine to get them from the nightwave store.... but for the most part you should be spending them on Nitain Extract....
