Pax_Tartaros
I don't know about you guys, but I find farming for operator amps too much of a pain (especially cetus wisps)... I just think being able to just straight out buy one for plat is a good idea. thoughts?

Then there is absolutely no purpose more for Eidolons except Arcanes. Also...random Amps like Zaws/Kitguns? Nah...To get an X-2-7 would be annoying

I actually don't recommend farming anything you want without the respective Booster Get yourself a fast Archwing like the Itzal or a Zephyr from the Clan Dojo or farm a Nova. These are the easiest ways to get your hands on Wisps. Learn their locations! The last point is the most important one. The better you know their locations the faster you can collect them and differentiate them from other Loot. Build your Itzal for Speed and min/max for Range/Efficiency. Useful Mods are If you decide to use a Zephyr I recommend the following Build. At last if you want to use a Nova, build her primarily for Range and Efficiency. Then "Wormhole" from one spot to the next. Whichever frame you pick, you have to use as much Loot Radar as possible since Wisps will be shown on the minimap as Loot symbols This is the fastest route and can be done in 3 to 5 minutes. You can get 3 - 5 Wisps per day and 6 - 8 Wisps per night. These numbers will be doubled if you use a Resource doubler. If you got a team (friends/clan) you can spread out and inform the rest where you found one. Following map shows the setup me and my clan used when we did Plague Star. We completed each run in 10 minutes plus 16 Wisps. 3 People search for the Wisps while the last one is doing the mission and later we switched out.

I want to play a shooter, not a jetpack racing circuit. Even making one or two runs is a total chore, doing so carries no "fun" value whatsoever. Every other grind in the game at least has the decency to contain Warframe's core gameplay. In regards to OP's topic, I think the issue isn't so much with Amps themselves as it is with their materials. Having a way to buy Toroids or Wisps with Plat would be very handy for when I just can't be bothered.
(XBOX)ShadowBlood89
i dont think so as all other places your able to buy modluars prebuild an gilded have one thing in common an that is that they would have use for the plat as Quills doesnt seem like it would have need for plat

I have 100+ wisps I don't know where to put mostly from bounties and walking into them on the plains but I don't have Hyperion thrusters or System reroute. These mods are not easy to acquire. IMHO, by the time you get these, you probably have no use for wisps. Although these mods are certainly not needed for the purpose IMO. But the guide is similar to some "beginners survival guides" that have frames with maxed Arcane grace or energize. Well, I guess everyone has them, so should not be an issue. 😉 Also, this farming is unbelievably tedious. I tried once, went half a circle and decided to never do this again. You should naturally get enough while maxing Cetus standing and getting some zaws and their arcanes. That might have been the case when all arcanes for amps and operator had to be manually crafted which is not applicable right now. A very reasonable decision by DE if you ask me. Also, it will be inconsistent with the lore. The Quills don't care about plat, it should not be for sale. Edited July 28, 2019 by akots

If you don't have them you can do fine without, you are just a bit slower. Like your mentioned Arcane Grace. It's not needed for any content but facetanking enemies without dying is also pretty neat. And it won't be your disadvantage if you state the "endbuild" so have sth to work on. 3 hours ago, akots said: Also, this farming is unbelievably tedious. I made this guide over a year ago when Plague was present the second time to help others.
