Lotus Ephemera

Hi, so I, like a few others had watched a sufficient amount of Tennocon with a linked account.

There was a post  by DE saying they are aware that many people who are eligible for drops have not received them and they have rolled out a script to help the majority of them. Anyways, we have had no update since then about the others that were not affected by the script. By their own admission, not everyone has received their items yet.

Sending tickets to DE will eventually link you to a thread that is locked where we are supposed to await DE's reply... in that thread... that was locked. Locked by a mod, not DE, btw.

Last Prime Time, they briefly mentioned there were bugs, but there was not mention about the people who are still waiting.

Anyways, my feedback is that could we please receive more responses on the matter instead of being kept in the dark?

It’s done, over etc. If you missed it you missed it. DE stated that they found the most common issue and applied a script to compensate those people. That is the end of it.

If you did not get either drop there is no evidence that your accounts were linked at the time. DE cannot really compensate people when there is no way to know if they watched.

  • My accounts were magically unlinked (Twitch decided to) prior to the Stream. But I checked and caught it before the Streams started.

Actually, even with video and or screenshots, they still dont accept it. Its not a matter of proof so much as it doesnt fall into a script. DE support has said to wait for a response. No response means we wait and keep this alive... all year if need be.

Anyone who is still waiting is waiting in vein.

At this point they have likely burned through all the substantive data that they have with regards to who was watching and met their criteria. It is unfortunate and the only real solace you can take is that it is incredibly unlikely that the Ephemera will not come back at some point in the future, I would bet next Tennocon. But who knows maybe sooner.

They have suspended Twitch drops after the last Devstream to work on the backend to make sure things like this are less likely to occur again in the future.

What do these prove? You have to prove that the accounts were linked correctly, and that you watched for at least 30 minutes. I would consider a 45 minute video sufficient evidence - starting with evidence of the account link, then you watching the Stream for the remainder of the time. If you cannot provide that, you have no evidence.

  • DE also said they cannot* add Twitch drops to the accounts. *Cannot seems to me “are not going to” as they were able to add Nekros Prime.

You can ask all you like, but I doubt that is going to change anything.

Dang, 45 minutes? I guess 5 hours was too much is why it was rejected.

Proof that things were linked with time stamps? dat photoshop skills. And not just me.

Could it be connection? hmmm. other computers in the house got it. linked? checking every 2 hours is probably not enough, it probably reconnected itself for 29 minute and 59 second intervals and disconnected exactly at 30 minutes for millionth of a second making me unable to get my drops.

DE has admitted that there are people who were supposed to get drops and didn't. Its not an issue of needing proof etc, they are unwilling to manually add any drops. YES they are unable to add twitch drops. They ARE able to add items.

Even with pictures or vids etc, me and many others have gotten the response to wait for DE to fix this. Their responses are also to stop sending tickets and be patient and wait. So by those responses, we should still have hope until DE confirms that they have given up hope at fixing this at which point, they will probably see many more problems.

As such, they believe its better to keep quiet (possibly forever) than to deal with the fallout of having to respond until they have a good solution.

I'm hoping that their dev stream will answer this eventually.

I'm just hoping that when they DO address it finally that those who didn't get it are finally rewarded for their screw up

I dont care about getting compensation or anything except my lotus ephemera. I dont care about nekros as it would save me 20 plat for a warframe slot.

I just want the lotus, and maybe an explanation.

At this point, I just hope the address it.
Didn't really need the rewards at the first place, but can't deny it kinda ruined my completely fine Tennocon experience.
And I'm quite sure it ruined a lot of other people as well.

Just bandaging the problem by giving out Nekros Primes to whoever got an Ephemera is just a partial fix.
I think they have to tell people how they will fix this and ensure it won't happen again.

Personally I think it would've been much easier if they gave out a promocode by Twitch after one has saw a certain amount of the stream
Rather then trying to make the script complicated and give the stuff directly to the game.

You had to watch for 30 minutes. I don't expect you to have a 5 hour recording for evidence. Basically, you cannot prove you did it, and DE has no record of it.

  • I 'watched' for about four hours.

I doubt anything more will be done, but I could be wrong.

I dont have a video, one of my friends has one of the whole stream just in case. He got nothing. I only had screenshots which support did not accept anyways. Support did not accept my friends video either but i doubt they wven watched it. And even if support believes us, support cannot do anything without upping the ticket but they have been instructed to not up the ticket and send everyone to that nekros thread which was locked.

Fairly sure support spends less than 1 minute a ticket with the topic containing the words lotus or ephemera or tennocon.

Submitting multiple support tickets and spamming the support page is ill advised, as it can result in your access to support being revoked for spamming/abusing the support ticket functionality.

As I mentioned in previously locked threads, if you have been told by DE support that you were not eligible to receive the TennoCon Twitch drops, then it means just that. It may not be the answer you want, but it's the answer you've gotten.

Locking.
