iLightning13
I'm really happy with the changes made in PoE 2.0. However, I noticed that the changes that were made didn't include the decorations. Ticker's Secondhand allows us to buy Fortuna decorations at a good price, around 100,000 or so Credits. However, Suumbaat in Cetus still sells his decorations at 100,000 Standing. For me, that's more than 5 days of solid grinding. For one decoration. I sincerely hope this is addressed and rebalanced to be more appropriate. Perhaps by allowing us to use some farmable items as currency such as gems, fish, or something new. The same can be said for the Quills. Their best decorations are on offer for 100,000 Standing, which would take multiple Tridolon hunts to complete. I believe allowing us to buy Quill decorations using Eidolon Shards would be good, as we don't really have a use for them at the moment. Thoughts? Edit: If this were to be rebalanced, I think it'd be a great opportunity to expand the pool of decorations. Cetus is absolutely brimming with props that could transform the look of a dojo room or orbiter. Just to name a few for the Ostron: Golden cutlery Suumbaat's cool Ayatan sculpture Endo balls Pots, pans, bowls and other crockery Cooking fire pits Rugs and flooring Crates, tables and stands Ceramic Unum bits with gold bits on Blue and yellow glowing lanterns For the Quills: Breath of the Eidolon prop Other Eidolon shard props (purchasable using the corresponding shard) Sentient stone fossils Eidolon shrine Operator armour stands Edited July 29, 2019 by iLightning13 added some extra stuff
(PSN)Hikuro-93
I asked that a lot... Seems like it's viable to ignore that issue since not many complain about it. I didn't even see the issue recognized, let alone addressed. Most of it was rebalanced, but not decor. And Fortuna launched with way better chances at getting decor. Sigh... I love the Orokin gold mixed with wood and ceramic way more than the grungy blues and greys of the Fortuna decorations (not that I don't like those either). Plus my dojo would look great with some of them added into the gardens.
(PSN)Double991
Honestly once you have all of their offerings, there is practically no use for your rep. Sure the price is high but what else are you going to spend it on?

Bait which now needs to be bought, not crafted; trophy blueprints; pheromones for conservation; arcanes; zaws for when I want to get the mastery from them; amps for when I want to get the mastery from them (and when they get their eventual buff); Operator cosmetics; Captura scenes. I have no issue farming for these decorations, but the cost they're currently at is silly. Edited July 29, 2019 by iLightning13
JaycemeSwain
To fix both those Issues, we could get 2 different new npcs in Cetus, one would just be one of the other vendors in cetus now being interactable and being the sorta "Ticker" for Cetus and the other would be another Agent of the Quills who is standing in the area of Onko and they'd work both as the Ticker like NPC for the respective group

Those prices were set upon the decoration release, which was during the dreaded time when the game was on fire due to all the salt fest regarding a content drought. So DE added these ridiculous prices to keep the players entertained for a bit longer while they worked on actual content. I understand why, but since they already adressed other costs they could do the same with these and rectify that first apparent and intended mistake/distraction.

I could farm less rep/turn in less crafting materials for rep because decos are cheaper and that would free up time and resources for other things. iLightning13
I got very bored and made some mockups of what this system could look like, and how the 'Ticker' vendor could work. In Cetus they aren't enslaved by debt so the story behind it would likely have to be different. You can definitely tell which one I got bored at making. For the Quills: For the Ostron: You'd trade in materials to 'Geoff' for the 'marks', which could then be used to buy decorations, either from 'Geoff' or from another vendor such as Suumbaat. PatternistSlave
It was a little rough, but in fairness did give me something to do. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect random ship decorations to oftentimes be rather difficult to obtain.
