Can't complete Night Wave mission

I can't complete the Night Wave mission: Complete 6 diferent perfect captures 

I already have 5/6 but even tho i have done multiple perfect captures it dosen't change the number

Anyone else has this problem?, is this a bug?

It has to be different species of each animal, up to 6 unique species/animals.

It is bugged as my first 3 perfect captures were Brindle Kubrodon. All of which counted as 3/6 perfect captures for the nightwave challenge. The 4th Brindle Kubrodon did not count. I then moved on to 1 x Red Veined Stover and 2 x Sentinel Stover. Nightwave challenge completed 6/6.

Perhaps it also takes into account the age of the animal?
