So I have been googling iterations of "best atterax build" and "best gram prime build" and they both seem to focus on crit. Some of the videos are pretty impressive, this one guy pulled off a 5.4k crit with his gram prime, but he had a riven on. I tend to have like a third of the mods these guys have, so I have to make due with what I have, and maybe that is my problem, because every build I put together, my condition overload builds ALWAYs out damage my crit builds. I don't have the rivens or maiming strike to do what they are doing in the videos, and I am wondering, what is the best I can do with my atterax and gram with "budget builds"? I mean I hate to see the crit go un-utilized, but there is nothing I have done so far that proves this is the way to go.
My testing mostly consists of seeing how fast I can cut down 8 lvl 130 bombards. My Atterax condition overload build generally always kills one of them in at least 6 seconds, and atterax has the range to hit all 8 mobs at once. Gram does not have the range to hit them all at once, and therefore seems to suffer from being unable to lift off with combo multipliers. I imagine atterax is better for trash clearing and gram is better for single targets, but I am still not sure how the best way to build either should be.
If anyone has any ideas about what I can do with what I have, the best mods I seem to have are; condition overload, primed reach, berserker, blood rush, the "sacrificial" mods, and all 4 60% status and 60% status chance mods. Oh, drifting contact too, though its not my favorite. Any suggestions and explanations would be welcome.
