Dojo tree color changes?

Just a minor question honestly - what happened to the tree colors? Specifically, the Maple tree (Single) and Maple Tree (Intertwined) used to be a beautiful, lush green. Now they're drab, brown, and quite frankly, look like they're either dying or in a permanent state of autumn. The red maple trees were also changed to look much less lush and vibrant, sadly. 

I usually don't request changes, or for things to be reverted, but I really, really dislike the way these trees look currently, and I fail to see why they should be so drab, and I'd love to see the original trees make a return.

I love the dojo decorating, I really do, but this seemingly minor change really irks me quite a bit.
