I've been living with it and wasn't going to dogpile into this issue since I figured it's not an actual functionality loss, but seeing as how utterly botched the "fix" was in update 25.5, I get the distinct impression that whoever is working on amp implementation has no idea what they are looking at. So maybe this will help decipher it for them:

sorry for bumping a three-year-old thread but it feels topical now that operators are being pushed harder as a core part of gameplay. the busted scaffold orientation has been grating on me for -years- and i'd love to see it reviewed
