Support & Suspension

My account has been suspended (no idea why). Support tickets have been open for 6 days now.

After 3 days I got an automated holding email.

Today I received another email from the support team. That contained nothing (an easy mistake to make that I hope means an update soon). 

I understand that support tickets can take time but there must be a better way to do this.

Could the automated holding email be sent when the ticket is initially made?
Could it include a rough estimate of how long support tickets are currently taking?
Could suspended accounts be sent an email when they are suspended explaining why they are suspended?
Could an account under review instead of being locked out be blocked from trading, the market and chat until the support ticket is resolved?

those are the usual culprits anyway.

Rarely use chat. usually just GG and TY. Have a positive plat balance.I can at least still see that on the warframe site.
No idea why went over everything possible in the last few days my fear is that someone tried to take over my account If so I'm glad it got suspended.
I just think DE's support team could do things a lot better. At the moment I'm in the dark and I doubt I'm the only one.

Maybe they do and they are just flooded and understaffed. The process could still be improved.

I have cheat engine (actually helped repair an old game) installed haven't ran it in well over a year. Definitely never ran while playing Warframe.

 

Overall no idea why the suspension has happened. I'm sure I'll find out eventually.

This post is more about the support process itself. It feels very cold and alienating the  opposite of how DE and the Warframe community has made me feel till now.

You just have to wait for support to give you the answer. We can't give you an answer. And one more thing, don't have cheat engine installed! That is just asking for a ban even if it's not turned on when you play Warframe or any other multiplayer game.

Tens of thousands of active users across 4 platforms. A lot of it is cold and automated out of sheer necessity. And the blowup of Tennocon free gift bots malfunctioning or people just lying bloating the active tickets. Me thinks you expect too much from a team who has to answer for all of bugframes problems.

Not knowing the reasons for your suspension by that very same automation is frustrating for sure though and could always be improved.

Was used to make Westwoods Bladerunner playable when I got nostalgic last year. Though I agree and will uninstall. Would still be great if they could tell if that was the reason.

Your right I probably am expecting too much. I just think even with an automated system it could be better.
A line on the support page giving an estimate about how long we could expect a ticket to take to be resolved would be nice.

U don't have to run it. If wf scans your computer and finds it installed it kisses you goodbye.

That could be it then. Had actually forgot I had it installed (reasons above). 

Still would be appreciated if the support team could tell me that.

I looked up a lot of different forum and reddit posts about it and saw different answers almost every time. Which only added to my frustration at the time.

Again if its 3 weeks or more that's fine. Would still be nice if something along those lines was included in a holding email or on the support page.
