Invisible Conservation Footprints

When doing conservation in the Orb Vallis after the latest update, I can't see the animal footprints unless my camera is at a very particular angle.  When the camera is angled approximately parallel to the ground, the tracks are visible; if I'm looking at the ground they disappear.

This showed up for the first time after the latest update.

Can confirm, it is really annoying, especially since you need it for Nightwave right now.

The described behavior matches with mine. The are visible when the camara is angled at approximately parallel to the ground, otherwise invisible.
The issue didn't exists before Update 25.4.0.

I had the same problem with the last nightwave, couldnt find the capture footprints.

However, there was one attempt where the footprints were on a small ledge about chest high, and there I could see them if I got the camera angle juuuust riiight.  It was acting as if the footprint textures were slightly underneath the ground textures instead of slightly on top.

Wow good catch! You're spot on with the issue. This turned out to be an issue with our depth bias, and affected a number of things. I'm so sorry for the issues everybody, and that we couldn't release a fix sooner. We're sitting on a real fix and should be able to push it to public soon
