It is because you get nakak pearls from playing the tactical alert missions, and you can use those pearls to buy items from nakak, and those items include the color picker.

My side is founded in my understanding of how people operate, I'm no psychology expert, but I can detect patterns. Its also based on general moral principles. If one wishes to have credibility they must act in a manner that gives them credence not mockery. Exaggerating a point is counterproductive as it robs a person of their credibility. In addition, when faced with a negative situation, the two most common methods of reaction seem to be avoidance and combatance. To mitigate this, creating a positive spin on a topic can promote positive outlook, thus allowing clearer thought. That said, we can only provide our insight, in truth the devs don't have any legal obligation to follow through, as such placing an aggressively negative outlook is only detrimental as there may be other problems in the future, and portraying yourself as "that angry complainer" will make you even less credible over time. I post my feedback thoughts in a way that make sure I can be counted on for feedback at a later date.

 

That's my philosophy on the matter. Take it as you will.

I think I get it now, it's because it's a tactical alert, not a holiday or a seasonal thing, yeah it's seasonal themed, but it's still a tactical alert. While the 1 credit color picker are for a holiday (for example: Valentine's Day) or for a seasonal thing (For Example: Winter).

While it is true that in many cases a positive spin on a negative situation might help alleviate it, others call for indignation. The truth is that no single method is right. Everything is context-dependent. Further, there exist different types of people. In an argument, you wouldn't treat a cult member the same as you would a philosophy major, given the latter allows for a freer mode of communication without the need to mince words or monitor their feelings.

Let us take a scenario - you witness the public abuse of a parent toward their child. On the one hand, you could strike a conversation with the parent and explain, calmly, positively, why they shouldn't do it. On the other hand, you could lash out at the parent and leverage surrounding individuals into mass-condemning the parent, shaming, scaring them. The first scenario might help the parent better themselves, but comes at the cost of the child receiving more abuse until the parent reaches a true understanding of their mistakes. The second approach is more likely to deter the parent from abusing the child in public in the future, but could then drive them into limiting those abusive instances to private settings. You could also report the parent to the police or child services, depriving them of a chance to improve.

Either approach entails positives and negatives, and while there exist more methods of action in this scenario, these embody our debate. If your intended result is to end the child's abuse by their parent, I don't necessarily know what approach is better. 

What I will say is that your positive approach here is by no means the better option, because the situation is more complex than one that either requires a constructive or explosive input. All of that is to say - positivity is not always the right approach. Neither is negativity. Everything is context-based. 

Sometimes DE doesn't deserve an out-lash, sometimes they do. Sometimes developers need encouragement for their mistakes, whereas for others they deserve ridicule and mockery. Of course, there is always a middle.

Cool event, but takes way too long to complete, the time should either be cut in half, or the game should end after getting a certain amount of kills. theres also no incentive to actually get kills, you still get the same amount as everyone else, Ive had multiple games where there was atleast one person who didnt even score.

Even some holiday color palates have had a 75P price.  Specifically, the Fourth of July and the Bastille Day color palettes,  which were patterned after the American and French flags.

It's fun, but the LAG IS UNTOLERABLE!!!! 
Running up on Grineer shooting them and nothing happens and I die, gg! 
Now I just have to do this for hours and hours?!  WHY would you do this DE?!

Brings me back to my point of a new Queue System, or options. This would let people like me, with a gigabit connection, host no-lag games for EVERYONE to enjoy!

Too bad it had to be the most badass Grineer Boss as the opponent. I'm sure the people of Cetus or even better - the kids! would have enjoyed a round of super soaker vs a plain Operator... Let kids be kids for a while and such.

I did this event with a sour face constantly thinking what a wasted opportunity for a lighthearted episode showing the opposite of the grim dark future with constant war. Too bad.

I was confused as hell when Kela sent me that email. She sounded drunk and I had no idea what she was talking about.

The event has been pretty fun so far. I'm entertained.

Big oversight on the Soaktron though, should've made it a buyable primary weapon skin. Would have given more to grind for, and I'd have happily farmed it up.
