(PSN)xxav1xl6ivax
Awesome may be a bit overstated (for my taste), but I have got to say, its virtues far outshine recent predecessors. It is a great way of pushing some back-to-basics play skills. Except for sprint speed, everything is set to a single, equal playing field (literally). A PLAYING Field. No pressures to do anything for any better purpose than to PLAY. So grab a drink (umbrella optional), and get down to some running, jumping, dodging, and ... Eccles: (Drowning in the distance) Help! Help! Bluebottle: Shut up Eccles! Eccles: Shut up Eccles, but help! Bluebottle: Shut Up Eccles or I’ll hit you with this water! ... throwing water. Look, that’s basically what the (super-soaker) Soaktron is doing. It’s throwing water. It’s basically harder to use (as a practical weapon) than anything in the arsenal. But just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. Just because it takes some work to develop some skill with using doesn’t mean it can’t be play. But if you can get your game up, playing with stripped down armor, and a water throwing squirt that’d get you killed fast in a “mission,” you’ll have some better, rudimentary play skills that can apply to any mission, and give you an advantage over just stringing together superpowers and OP nuking everything. The Tactical Alert actually provides the time and place for learning to play tactically.
