ok i must have got over 20 prefect tames now, I cannot stand hunting now and i will never do it again!

If you force us to do missions make sure they work before hand or people will never do them again!!!

Apparently they just have to be different encounters, not animals, didnt bother enough to confirm this tho

can do the same species but has to be differnt varients of the speices

To clarify since broadening the question to make solving it easy wasn't understood.
"Different" means different animal breeds. Like one of each pobber. One of each kubrodon. One of each sawgaw. But to make things banally easy and eliminate the factor of rng being unkind by spawning the same type of animal every attempt, get an animal of a different species for each capture. You will soon realize that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this Nightwave requirement.
Putting animals to sleep with Equinox or Ivara then capturing them will count as a perfect capture solely if they didn't see you prior to it. You do not have to tranquilize it if you have used abilities. Approach them and capture them. Be sure there are no enemies around. They will sometimes target sleeping animals for unknown reasons.

Multiple creatures in one encounter (e.g. pobbers) will count as one.

Subspecies of the same creature are considered different.

Basically, have two or three echo lures (pheromones optional but make it easier) and aim to get as many subspecies as possible.

This mission is buggy (gave me credit where I shouldn't have,  didn't when it should). However, if you do what I described, you'll def. complete it.
