The new mod is pretty fun but...

I feel like prices are a bit too high : 1000 pearls for scene = 20 level 4 games = 106 minutes and 40s in game (without loading). So that's 1h46 only doing the new mode which is a bit repetitive because you only have access to one weapon.

Maybe I missed something, in that case any help is welcome.

Edit: 

All the items that are from this game mode exclusively (there's also mods but they can be dropped on kela) cost 4050 pearls in total.

Yep just done the first mission and saw I only gained 10 pearls, figured it would go up on the rest but if it's just 50 for the highest level that's just too low.   I'm lucky in I already have all the mods, multiples in some cases but even just going after the floofs etc is going to be rather monotonous. 

Now seeing as we get nakak giving us stuff I'm guessing this will be a recurring event ala plague star but even so this is really poorly balanced compared with plague star for example.

The tactical alert was supposed to be a short and quick unique twist to the game, something to play for its humor and leave, Nakak's pricing completely undoes this. If a method to gain pearls lasts all summer and only the tactical alert rewards are gone in 10 days then it would make more sense, but if the store leaves with the alert then you're forcing people to wear themselves down on the gamemode just to get the all the rewards.

Incase you say "They're only aesthetic items, you don't need them." They're exclusives, people will farm them.

This was supposed to be a quick gimick and you turned into a power grind, this is not a healthy way to introduce content.

The gamemode was not designed to have this amount of mileage, people are just going to get horrifically bored getting the exlusive items.

 

You are charging 200 pearls (the entire tactical alert gives you less) for a mod when you can play arena and kill kela to get one for free, that is ridiculous.

I've always thought as Warframe as a game that values my time, this mission clearly doesn't.

DE tests the waters (so to speak) of more silliness in game, weapons that use recharge points for perhaps unique missions, maybe even pvp idea. 

Kills interest in everything with a crushing reward scheme. Which can't be a test on how much we put up with it because they always do this...

The only thing that will make me slightly Salty is if they add in new aesthetics mid event, that said there are some aesthetics I'd love to see added like the Water Gun, some Physics beachballs and maybe an Ephemera~ 

So far seems to be about 20 pearls per match, not sure if that goes up after you move past the base event or not, kinda really want the Captura scene but only if it lets you keep playing the event after it's over, cause that would be super awesome.

The highest level only gives 50 per run.

Not to mention DE WILL be upset when some Players find some Cheese or Gimick that allows them to secure the Kill or two they need to achieve "Victory" conditions, then just AFK style Run in Circles till the timer is over. How DARE the Players do something like this, then have the gall to share that information Everywhere for Everyone.

 

EDIT: Annnnnd then I went and found literally TWO Exploits, both "Literally Walk away from the computer" AFK methods, without need of any third party tools or macros. (Reported the worse of the two, might report the second if it proves too AFK-y.)

Thats pretty much what ppl are doing now already lol. Kill a couple and go afk.

Looks like you cracked the code! All we have to do is go do the Arena instead!

Well probably because nobody had discovered the arena before you pointed it out. 

I mean I did the event a while ago. If pressing that R3 button so many times, so quickly, didn't hurt so much I might still be playing it. 

But you've saved me! I'm free now! And can go farm all the mods I already got from the Arena, in the Arena, instead of wasting my time having fun in the new tropical themed map..... I mean I just happen to live on an island in the Caribbean, so it's not like running around  having fun at the beach is something that I would be interested in. 

Right?

I can only agree.
Allready an hour in, and have only got 360/1000.

This means, all other content of warframe now has to be shoved aside.
Just so I can grind this mission over and over, till it drains me from all life.
And I am allready dried out, and dead inside, enough.
No ammount of 'soakage' can solve that.

In fact, there is such a thing as overhydration.
It's called drowning, among several other things.

Just to complete the collection.

Broken war/wolf sledge déjà-vu all over again... :sad:

Hoping it would net double the pearls/round.
Make things less painful...

Nope, doesn't work.

Superheated grind + money down the drain.

idunno. played for like 30min or less today and that equated to about 1/10 of the screenshot scene (ended up with 120pts). that was including playing the early stages.

so if i played for like 20min every day of the Event, i'd basically be able to buy everything that's new/unique since i'd be getting 50pts from every Mission rather than averaging much lower due to completing the first 3 Missions.

Just checked the prices. Oof. Not great.

That said, I think I'm just going to get the colour picker and the Captura scene and call it at that. Nothing else in that selection of stuff interests me.

Edit: Hmm. Just noticed there's another thread on this. Surprised the mods haven't merged the threads yet.

If you played the event for 20 minutes a day, that's enough for 1/3 the new items.

You need to do 1 hour a day to get 1 of each thing.
