enable port 4970 and 4975

when i log in, a few seconds later i get a message like this "please ensure that youre firewall permits udp ports 4970 and 4975" but i have opened these ports on my router and it still dosent work. all other forums i have read is about a glitch but this is definatly no glitch. apreciate all help i get.

You can try to move the ports it wants access to from the game options (in gameplay tab iirc) if its mentioning UDP or UPNP you may need to reset/update the router as that function may be a bit off. I have my network set up oddly, I go through 2 routers and when i had a similar issue turned out the UPNP was borked so I have the computer in the other router now.

Check computer firewall as well, issue a tracert to 96.47.186.2 on the command line see if you recognize hops if your second hop is not a public one check that and forward ports.

If you are on Windows, you may need to open those ports in Windows Firewall as well. Look in Control Panel for Windows Firewall.
