Ember damage

I think ember abilitys should do more damage because comparing with some others warframes ember damage is useless but ember is still for me the best looking  warframe

ember wont ever be a good dps later in the game without proper innate armor removal due to the issues which come with heat as her damage type.

this was pre nerf and still remains, late game she mostly turned into a CC bot unless u have 4x cp for example but still nothing too impressive.

shes playable tho, u just cant press 4 on its own anymore and expect supreme results but that was never the case later in the game so in that regard nothing rly changed.

I don’t know what spurred you to make this post. Regardless just hastily saying she’s weak but you like the way she looks and you want DE to buff her isn’t how you ask.

Ember cannot just be given higher damage numbers in her current state. Her current abilities are far to passive to just be let to deal buttloads of damage. She needs a complete rework of all her abilities to create interactions and synergies that would create an fun and engaging AOE DPS frame that doesn’t just have to cast 1 ability to kill everything.

I'm sorry but am I reading this right? You think she deals a "Buttload" of damage when she is outclassed by basically every other DPS in the game? I'm sorry to say but you must be building the other dps frames badly if you think ember is nearly as good as your making her out to be. She is easily the weakest and other frames deal more DPs then her almost as passively as she deals her rather pathetic damage at the moment...

I think they meant that her abilities shouldn't be buffed to do a load of damage when you can just cast them and walk around killing stuff. Instead she should have some sort of setup or rework to abilities to allow them to get buffed up to do more damage.

Personally I think Ember could use some sort of buff or rework as in her current state most other DPS frames can do what she does better.

for what it's worth, at the current time, Ember can nonsenically Multiply Damage as a Damage Buff Support kind of thing. due to there being so many stacked layers of Damage Multiplying, it's technically the strongest Damage Buff in the game (just in, well, 100% Fire Damage).
so that's Fireball Frenzy, Flash Accelerant (+ native Accelerant), and the ground ring from Fire Blast. Fireball Frenzy can only be applied to Allies so it's full Support type at this moment (though Damage Buff Augments will be self castable soon and then Ember will be able to apply all of these Buffs to herself).
while it's very out of the ordinary it should still be mentioned, as the game has unintentionally created some stacking Damage Multipliers that lets Ember be fairly synergistic, which is frankly more than i can say about the intentional 'synergy' with more recent Warframe designs that require Casting Abilities in a specific order and you get exactly one predetermined result out of.

but anyways, if all of these Damage Multipliers are taken advantage of, Ember can easily offer 70x Damage! this is 'just' for Weapons however, Embers' Abilities themselves get something closer to 1/20th of that.
(though when Damage Buff Augments change, that will change things up quite significantly. granted, Ember will then have two mandatory Augments as there will literally never be a reason to not have them since you self Buff everything you do with them)

 

ofcourse, that would still leave the issue of that Fire Status is garbage other than for a mild CC, as the DoT is basically useless even if we were to have a Sniper Rifle that dealt Fire Damage as its Base type.

I made a Rework exactly for this issue. If anything, hopefully heat damage gains the ability to burn away enemy armor in the near future. It would go perfectly with my ability tray for her.
