I'm a veteran, and being without much objectives in the game, I became a stream hunter ; finding courageaous new Tennos daring to start the adventure, and helping them - spoiler-free and powerlevel-free - to progress in this amazing game. Sharing tips and advice, in little quantity to not make their brains melt, and a hand when really needed. I'm not an exception, a lot of friendly fellow Tennos are doing the same, making this community truly great. I was a newb once too, and people helped me in such a nice way, this is just pay back.

I stumbled recently on a stream of one of the most tenacious, stubborn, smart, skilled and lovely Tenno I've seen so far ; She blindly soloed the whole main quest line from 0 to Chimera without more than advices, and did that with great sucess. I'm definitely not here to make an advertisment of Her stream, as I do not know her at all, even if that'll produce some exposure, (and truth to be told, she deserves it), but I really wanted to share with you guys, and especially with DE, her thanks and congratulations about the success story which is Warframe.

(Note : I do not own any copyright and don't have the authorisation of the streamer to share the content, even if it's a video accessible to the public. This isn't intended to make any profit, but only to share a true honest love for the game.)

(Note 2 : If you are a new Tenno, beware, the whole video contains a lot ot spoiler; but there nothing between the bold timestamps below)

When you spent too much time on the forums, you may notice the dark side of the community. People complaining about the lack of end game, the lack of balance, or the lack of lore and explicit story.

That's hurting, because myself, i'm having a lot of fun playing this game. And seems like some other people do. This is a proof of how gratefull some new player discovering the game ; alone, and without having a clue where it leads ; can be. Some people are having a blast figuring the story out, and want to thank DE for the great job they do.

I'm just being a relay of this expression. I'm proud, and I thought to myself, this kind of speech need to be shared with our great community. Was I mistaken ?

Content creators like youtubers and streamers are known to play this game and shower it with positive thoughts, this is nothing new. 2018 was literally the "praise Warframe" year where reviews and positive opinions on this game would just constantly pop up on my feed, even some big youtubers deciding to play it and review it, almost never a word of negative feedback. It's become a common thing to do, talk about Warframe and lick it's boots for exposure and looking at this thread it's clearly working.

You talk about people complaining as if it was a bad thing, stop being so sensitive, this game is not perfect. And it's been getting worse since i started playing. DE's decision making on their most recent content (last 2 years) has been extremely questionable, most of it not even being noticed by the community due to being mostly irrelevant/only affecting a minority of the players - Nyx's nerfs for example (with absolutely 0 reason, completely unasked for), i bet no one even noticed that but i did and i will NEVER forgive them for it, i even made a thread in the forums and nobody even answered, but i notice every single one of them and go to the forums hoping to see people talking about it. Unfortunately only the big things get noticed and talked upon (like the most recent controversy with Dog Days).

This game needs more negative feedback if anything, im tired of having my experience just get worse and worse with no signs of stopping because some people literally don't think of how certain changes will affect the player ingame and the rest just swallows it with fear of being swarmed by white knights who will defend this game at all cost.

And sure, share this with our great community, no harm in that. I'm just not one of them

I'm really sad you do feel that way, because I do not.

Not everything DE is doing is a "good thing", I do agree, but the way you react to it is still your own choice.

Beyond stats, number, and other gameplay details, I enjoyed the human experience and reaction of many people the quest line. And this example is just one that touched me the most.

Minor nitpick:

This isn't feedback. It's not positive feedback, it's definitely not negative feedback. It's a "thank you" message.

Example of positive feedback:

"This weapon is really cool, I'd like more things like it."

Positive feedback is when you tell devs what to do and what was done well.

Example of negative feedback:

"This weapon isn't good. It's bugged, and it's too weak."

Negative feedback is when you tell the devs what NOT to do, and what was done badly.

 

Since your thread is about the community (and your feelings about it), and not about telling devs what to do or not to do, your thread is in no way a feedback thread.
