Dazubo Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 I live in China and I'm having the issue where trade specifically doesn't work. Players are invisible (not just visually, but don't register at all as a trade option) when attempting to join a dojo (doesn't matter mine or theirs or even maroo's). Zakkhar Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 (edited) The players attempting the trade need to have Two Factor Authentication enabled to show on the list. Are you 100% certain they do? As far as I have been able to find, it is a problem specific to players in China, which also means there is not much information available on the forums about how to handle this specific issue, even though it is a crippling one. CxLL Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Yes, this has been an issue for quite some time now. Not solely for players from China either. It manifests through several aspects - from players not being visible in the relay/dojo but present in chat, to them not even loading into the same instance of the relay/dojo even if the same one is selected. What players have been utilizing so far is changing either the region or the localization in the Launcher (which changes the ingame servers as well), and then trading regularly. Dazubo Posted September 18, 2019 Author Share Posted September 18, 2019 (edited) For anyone who finds this post in the future, I found a solution for myself although I was not able to specifically identify what the problem was. I used a program called UU Accelerator (网易UU加速器 in Chinese) which allows me to connect to a proxy server in Hong Kong (or any region of your choosing). When playing Warframe while connected to a server in Hong Kong, I can finally trade normally without the invisible players issue. Unfortunately the program uses paid subscription. There are possibly free candidates that achieve the same thing but I was not able to find any. Someone more tech savvy than myself might be able to give a more knowledgeable response in this regard. What I can conclude from this is that the issue (at least, the cause of the issue specifically for my problem) is China specific and DE's approach to this issue is limited.
