Finding a middle ground would have propably been the best solution instead of a complete shift. I feel the more a dojo is realized the less value resources as a reward will provide. Meaning if someone wins after 'finishing' a dojo, those resources will be of little use. That plat is of no use to clans seems to me rather like untapped potential and should warrant some more consideration (lots of nice assets from Cetus and Fortuna that could be introduced as a 'unlockable collection', just like a way to increase capacity slightly). Furthermore.. the numbers do seem little impactful - i usually spend at least double or tripple the poly per inspiration room (looking at 1st or 2nd place shadow), other resources (except Gallium) are usually of little use to me and are readily available. I also think distributing some resources as a 'consolation prize' under eligible participants is something to think about (a sentiment of .. "not good enough but take this and keep going"), as this does encourage continued participation and new ideas (especially for newer clans, after all for people just starting to decorate, every bit helps). That there is still no distinction between different decoration styles in the contest is something i think could have also been addressed. Maybe some ideas could be found to make this contest more exciting in the future (e.g. room showcase vs dojo showcase, or a design theme challenge). We went for a clean 100% finished look where we did every room and hallway with a constant theme and a high standard finish where every decoration and item is placed and joined up perfectly. We have it all.. From a robot thats so big it's bursting though two floors and a Clemobile, to a secret garden with a floating tennohenge and a toy room which includes a indy/F1 car and a steamtrain. Not as well crafted as the ones above, but they are there so I'm still posting them. Story Rooms We currently have 2 story series in our dojo, Labours of Hercules and Wukong Origin. Story rooms implemented the element of storytelling into dojo through the use of texts, room descriptions, custom sculptures, unique terrain and floor plan design. Visitors follow a guided path in a series of connected rooms to experience different stories as the stories unfold going through the rooms. Labour of Hercules Spoiler The first story room series of our dojo telling the story of the Greek mythology "Labour of Hercules". Consist of 17 rooms in total, 2 rooms for prologue, 13 rooms for the 12 labours (the 11th labour has 2 rooms), 1 dialogue room, and 1 epilogue. Labours of Hercules (Full album) Wukong Origin Spoiler The second story room series of our dojo, telling the story of the first 14 chapters of the famous Chinese classic "Journey to the West" telling the story of Sun Wukong's early life before he met his mentor Tang Sanzang and their journey to the west. Consist of 13 rooms (8 main set pieces + 5 story connectors), features more aggressive use of texts and floor plan design than the first series. I wanted to go for an Orokin-esque feel while also staying true to my taste in color pallettes. Other Images: Spoiler I wanted to give a visual representation of where each lab was located in the main hall without going to signs, so I decided to decorate the areas with what I felt best represented each lab. For example this is the entrance to the Tenno Labs. Here's the entrance to the Energy Lab. And the Chem Lab. Finally there is the Bio Lab, which I admittedly had some trouble with since there weren't any infested decorations in dojos yet. I think I did a pretty good job, but will still be redoing this one when the decorations hit Switch. Next up is the Temple of Honor. You'll first notice the lack of a Loki Statue, instead there's a giant ice pillar with a little surprise on top. The most important dedication alcove of course. Any floofs me or other clan members can spare will end up either here or sprinkled throughout other rooms in fun little dioramas. We may be a small clan but we take the clan events seriously. Getting gold on both of these made me one proud clan leader. One of the first unique rooms we had in our clan. Called the Twin Gardens (or nausea room by some), it was a contribution by a good friend after I invited him into my clan. He also has a few other contributions I want to bring up next. First is this mecha that he spent, oh, like three days making. I really enjoy how it turned out, but enjoyed the next construction even more. I mean really, how could we call ourselves the Dragon Lovers League without having a dragon in our clan's dojo?! Preposterious, I say. And to that my friend said "Gimme a few days and I'll have that fixed." Anyways this ends the highlights of my clan's dojo, there are a few other rooms I didn't go over and some little things peppered throughout so I hope you give consideration and even if we don't win just having Meg or Reb visit would be really awesome. Featured Image Spoiler This is our main Railjack part repair bay. Spoiler So for some backstory The people of Robonia were few in numbers but strong willed and stubborn. Having lived in their asteroid base for generations they were used to many things. However the Grineer Empire does not care who you are when you have something they need. In the Robonians darkest hour three tenno showed up to defend them, save them, and give them a new life. After saving this small colony the three tenno form a clan focused on defending those scattered throughout the origin system who cannot defend themselves. Now their dojo serves as the tenno’s base of operations and the Robonians home, as well as a safe harbor to all those in the origin system for those who need it.
