Eidolon Shards not ending up in mission rewards

Maybe i'm going crazy, but since this last hot fix, when hunting Eidolons the normal eidolon shard and brilliant shards will show up and I will pick up both, but when I get out of the mission I only got the brilliant shard and not the regular even though I make sure to grab both. It's happened twice now and it doesn't happen every time. Is anyone else having this problem or is it something I'm doing wrong? I always get the bounty and we have been doing multiple of the just Terralyst missions.
