Do Titan Sized Warframes Exist?

Recommended Posts

We all know how huge the Sentient are but you have to wonder if the Orokin ever made giant Warframes if they are making their buildings like the Unum out of organic matter that's alive.

So I have to know if there's a colossal warframe out there that our warframes can hook up with and be piloted. Maybe like Zone of the Enders:

Evangelion:

Maybe even Gundam:

Like there's no way the Orokin didn't think of that when they have such huge colossal enemies that look like they can literally eat worlds.

Plus I'd pay a lot to have my own Giant Warframe in Warframe.

So badass.

I'd only want one to see how the heck they'd be able to work with all the cramped tilesets in the game.

I'd imagine they would be in outer-space or summoned in open world. Like they drop down from orbit or something.

Pretty sure we can control anything with a transference bolt in its skull, but I wouldn't count on it.

they will be very slow and cumbersome due to gravity and air friction. that's why I think it's against the nature of warframe.

Warframe's were created from controlled infection of humans so their size is relative to human size for the most part.  They may have had other weapons like this but they wouldn't have been war frames, also size isn't everything the eidolons are colossal in size but a single Warframe can wipe out an army of them.

No idea why but I when I read that I thought of a warframe drilling into a larger warframe like lagann does in gurren lagann lol

MAAAYBE spoilers for archwing 2.0 Voyages into dark rift space. needing the extra shielding and firepower to combat deep rift beasts that threaten to spill forth into sol system.

>.> just maybe.

could make them exclusive for use in deep rift as they take their power directly from rift space, big fast and powerful as hell. but that also applies to the beasts >;3

If you don't put your idea into a certain logic, that idea cannot go beyond imagination and become a reality.
Think of it you have a giant warframe you've got it down to the plain of eidolon, everything there must be destructible.

the only reason we can do that is because most warframes are walking WMDs

It probably wouldnt be possible. All frames have an organic part inside them, they arent straight up robots. So it is very likely that the organic parts wouldnt be able to handle the stress of gravity and other forces.

Read the Rhino entry to get a better picture of it. The raging beast mentioned there is the primordial version of a frame, before all bolts, plates, kevlar, neuralwear and so on is applied i.e the thing that makes it all tick originaly. Imagine if they'd managed to make an organic inside for something the size of Megatron that happened to then get cranky and go on a rampage. The orokin had already made enough mistakes with the sentients and the first frames, it also continued with the non-human hosted frames like that pre-rhino.

Playing a game like No Man's Sky and Elite Dangerous with these massive worlds to explore makes me think that there is game out there in our future where we control Evangelion sized mechs traveling from star to star perhaps shaping landscapes, battling massive dreadnoughts, and uplifting alien life. (Sorry playing a lot of Stellaris of late)...

The size difference would lend itself to much more photorealistic environments like forests, cities, and herds of terrestrial creatures moving about as the larger we get compared with the perspective of being at the ground level running in a normal human scale around the computer generated content...

I want my rail jack to transform into one.

But getting a biological thing to that size would be problematic, especially on locations with gravity.

why make a big one when a small one is just as effective?
its like those super heavy tanks during world war 2 thats actually useless and just a waste of resources when you can mass produce smaller ones thats more manuverable and reliable
probably the orokin where smart enough to know that since theyre an advanced civilization after all.

So badass.

You’d need two operators...one to operate with right side of the brain and one the left...and then you’d have to solve how you’d procure enough Void energy to make it all go because operating a Warframe that weighs 1/10 of 1 ton is a TAD different than powering enough infested flesh to fill a 100 ton carapace.

I think the only biological part really necessary is the brain/transference bolt receptacle. Orokin coulda, if they wanted to, I'm sure they had the capability, to slap a brain in a jar with a transference bolt wired to some life support/neural interface, and have the rest of the body "standard giant mech" for giant Warframes. Something like Ghost in a Shell, or the Warhammer 40K Dreadnaughts, tho that'd probably be super susceptible to Sentients. Sentients and their abilities are probably why

Welp that seems disappointing....there's a huge fanbase of mecha lovers that are just desperate for a decent mecha game that was as great as Exteel.....

It's a niche that has been long unfilled.

Square cube law. You can't build an organic mech larger than about warframe size without technological support, and technology meant vulnerability in the Sentient War

Better yet, several railjacks transform together into a TENNOZORD

GO GO WARFRAME RANGERS!!!!
