(PSN)Vylnce
So I signed up for Twitch during Tennocon (EDIT BASED ON dismissive post below:) and linked the accounts per website instructions) so I could watch some stuff and get free loots. I normally stay away from those platforms, because they seem like garbage to me. I watched a couple Tennocon presentations (which was awesome and enjoyable). Sadly, I didn't get any of the drops. I opened a ticket with DE and the answer I got was extremely disappointing. Quote We can officially confirm that all drops have been sent out to all eligible accounts. If you find yourself missing the Nekros Prime and/or the Lotus Ephemera drop, we can assist you in ensuring your connection is solid for future promotions; but unfortunately we are not able to add this item to your account. It is possible a disconnect may have occurred due to overloaded twitch/mixer/steam servers, which could have lead users to not receive any of the drops. Unfortunately there isn't anything we can do regarding this once it's happened. So the end answer is that DE is not responsible; it's Twitch's fault; try again in the future. How about, no? I have a lot of respect for DE, but this dropped it a bit. I see a lot of complaints about people not getting drops from this social/game broadcasting garbage. If their platforms are such crap, why are you bothering to partner with them? Oh, probably because they have the market cornered. So I guess the end answer is to everyone, don't bother. Twitch is poorly run (which was my initial opinion) and you may or may not get anything for your time. I am not sure how many cases you closed about this in a similar manner, but I would urge you to forward them all to Twitch and have them solve them OR simply stop partnering with them, because they are embarrassing you. You promised, they failed to record, and you didn't deliver. If you continue to work with them without fixing the problems you are saying they create, it reflects poorly on you as well. Funny you say that but you didn't say you linked your Twitch account to your ingame account. So I assume you didn't do that. Now you are mad at DE because you failed to follow all the instructions. Seems legit.
(PSN)Vylnce
I did, I followed the website instructions to link the accounts before watching the streams. It's my strong suspicion that since I opened the Twitch account and connected them the same day as I watched the streams, something didn't process all the way through. GinKenshin
I mean, they partnered with them and millions of players got freebies off of watching a stream that's both entertaining and informative of the game. I'd stay that's worth the partnership even if a few people didn't get anything for whatever reason
Sajochi
Well, that could mean you watched it live, or watched an archive. If you watched it live for 30 consecutive minutes, and still didn't get it then there isn't much that can be done after the 2 scripts ran to try and correct it. Sucks but that's life sometimes. If you watched the archive and are angry because you didn't get rewarded for watching the archive, well there's your problem. I don't know what else you tell you. FerockQuartz
Most complains that day are on non-PC players who weren't able to receive those freebies immediately. I got mine after 6 hours.

I bothered and I got something for my time - an Ephemera and a free Nekros Prime (well... a free slot). This "everyone - don't bother"... what sort of attitude is it? Do you think that your experience should dictate how the whole community behaves? That I should stop getting the free stuff (which I always get) because you once were disappointed? Well, I will not. "Everyone don't bother" my sweet Tenno derriere.

"Everyone don't bother" my sweet Tenno derriere. You are right. I am speaking for myself, but I am speaking to the community. I'll amend what I said to this: If you don't get free stuff from Twitch/DE after following the directions (and maybe waiting a bit), then don't bother. DE won't fix the issue, they will simply point at Twitch as being unreliable. Opening a ticket is only waste of your time and DE's at that point. I am glad you got your drops (seriously, I am) and glad that everyone else that did as well. However, many of us didn't, and won't ever.

DE did run a script (the Monday after Tennocon) that repaired many of the missing drops. Some people still got nothing because glitches on the internet happen all the time. Yes, computers are not perfect. We can moan about it, and how about a particular glitch happened specifically to us. So... yeah, S#&$ happens. The great majority of people get their Twitch drops without problems. Sucks for you you didn't. The end.

I'll be fine with it after that. I'd have been happy with that as a response from DE. "Sorry Twitch f'd you. You'll have a shot at the Ephemera in two months for an alert, Nekros is currently available."
(XBOX)AMONGTHEWEAK
I understand your frustrations and I understand where DE is coming from. DE has to have proof on their side as well for cases so they can know if someone isn't just saying something so they can get a drop. I am not saying you are, but in their defense, there is nothing they can do if their side does not show you as viewing the stream. I did not even watch the stream because I forgot it was happening so I am out of the drop, but I understand where you are frustrated because you had your account linked but it did not give you credit for watching when you did. They have to be able to prove to themselves your case and anyone elses who experienced the same issue that arrived where someone did not get a drop and their account was linked to their twitch and that they actually viewed for X amount of time. The fact that you didn't receive the drops means that you are missing from their logs. For some glitch, your name wasn't added to the list of people who watched on Twitch. So when you go to CS and say "I have watched it", how can they tell? If they look in the logs, they don't find it. I mean, they could just believe you, but at that point they'd probably have to give hundreds of Nekros Primes to loads of people who didn't watch Tennocon but can claim they have and know DE will give them a Nekros Prime without proof. And that sets a terrible precedent - DE gives us free loot so that we will watch (and propel Warframe into "most watched" and "trending" and whatever), but if we are told that we'll get everything without watching... It would probably be the end of the purpose of Twitch drops. Everyone can have them, and they don't need to watch, and CS has to be used to be flooded by spurious claims. Sucks to be you, but what can they tell you? "Fine, we'll give a free Nekros Prime to you, and also to each liar who claims to have watched it"? You aren't being reasonable, here. They could direct people to Twitch for corrections (depending). I actually don't want/didn't care about Nekros (already have him and can afford slots). What I cared about was the cosmetic item that isn't currently available any other way. Like I mentioned above I would have been been happy with an apology and an alternate way of getting the items given. It will probably happen in the future. You want them to apologize for something that wasn't their fault, or for a different company that doesn't have anything to do with this game, to give you something that can't be bought? Or for them to give you a way to get what is not being given anymore, and you are not going to accept 'just wait' as an alternative way to get the items? How does that even begin to make sense to you?
