Can't re-spawn on the index after dying during the host migration loding screen

After the battle or extract screen on the index, a host migration happened, during the loading screen the enemies were still active so they killed me and the remaining squad mate. The game wouldn't let me re-spawn or the other person, we were both stuck looking at the dead warframes, a force shutdown of the game was required.
