Loza03
I did once read a fanfiction which suggested that this caused Ordis a great deal of stress shortly after the Second Dream... Anyway, it might be built into the chair in some way. Or possibly processed by the void, similarly to how we can assume their immune system is turbo-charged. Disintegrate any waste, or possibly using void hoodoo to achieve 100% digestion. 2 minutes ago, KenthNisshoku said: we don't even eat... We know Operators still function on some normal biological principles to some degree thanks to the Second Dream and their muscular degeneration. So, it's likely we do eat, for nutrition like protein, if not for energy.
nslay
Operators and Warframes are socketed with Ayatan stars to achieve perpetual energy without waste.
Cadrua
Maybe the Operators draw on the Void's energy to sustain themselves, bypassing the need to ingest physical food.
akots
Operator is the creature of the Void. Thus, menial needs are no longer applicable. Do not be deceived by the human-like looks, it means nothing. Grineer are all clones, so probably get their energy from some charging station, and corpus are all robots. And there is infested goo all over the place on the infested maps. Edited August 16, 2019 by akots

On Kuva Fortress missions, you can hear the Worm Queen talk about denying them meals if they fail to perform well. The Worm Queen also eats (the Grineer). EDIT: Here's one quote: "I give you maggots the honor of eating from my scrap-trough and this is how you repay me? Unacceptable!" But I am sure there is another about denying them food if they don't perform well. Oh yeah... did you know the Worm Queen likes to cook? Reference: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Grineer_Queens/Quotes EDIT2: Spoiler I'm pretty sure they eat the protein slurry she mentions too! And also here where she cancels regular meals... so yeah, they totally eat Spoiler Edited August 16, 2019 by nslay
(PSN)Kakurine2
We can turn into energy and rematerialize anywhere by will alone. As beings of the void we are essentially absolute so long as we stay in control.

birdobash
Even if they didn't NEED to eat, they'd surely feel the urge to anyway. Imagine you didn't need to eat at all and you'd be completely fine, you'd still feel the urge to snack on food, regardless of sustenance or not, simply because it is not just biologically but also psychologically beneficial and detrimental if you do not. You ever felt the urge to put food in your mouth in the morning, even if you don't necessarily feel hungry? That's the brain telling you EAT. Over half our society seems to function without one anyway.
(PSN)Kakurine2
If you can at wil de/re materealize on the fly. And exist even without a body. Whose to say the the tenno leave anything physical behind unless they will it so. All things are possible with the void. kgabor
What the hell the void energy kiddo is doing in the bathroom? See, you can bring up the opposite as a question and it can sound just as if not more silly with the right context.

On Kuva Fortress missions, you can hear the Worm Queen talk about denying them meals if they fail to perform well. The Worm Queen also eats (the Grineer). Maybe, IDK, although seems extremely uneconomical in a rough Grineer structure. The Worm is the only one who ever mentions food or anything of the sorts. She might be referring not to Grineer in general but to Guardians and maybe some upper echelon Kuva guards who seem to be in better shape than the rest of the rabble. There is no trace of anything eadible or remotely resembling any possible type of food ingredient anywhere which should be present otherwise in fairly large quantities. There are also no indications of any types of brewing tanks or other food sources. IMO Grineer are engineered to use some alternative energy source to survive in space. That may be one of the reasons for their short life span and lack of regenerative abilities. They might come out of cloning facility fairly intact but then, cannot synthesize or otherwise acquire biological components needed for regeneration.
