Best frames for a newbie/returning player?

Hi I'm a 'newbie' that recently joined back. I played for a few hours back then and then quit due to lack of time to farm in the game, but recently the game has lots of updates and content so I joined back.

I just kind of caught up with the changes to relics and what not, and I was itching to get a new frame apart from my old rhino. Any recommendations? I saw Saryn P being recommended. Is it hard for a newbie to get it? If not, what others would you recommend that doesn't require extensive modding and fairly good for farming? Thanks guys 🙂

It's not hard, but expensive because she is vaulted which means you cannot get her relics anymore and only still existing ones can be opened.

Also her build is very expensive for new player due to it's needing rare and maxed mods

Farming for what?

Resources? --> Nekros or Hydroid. both relatively easy to get.

Farm bosses? --> Inaros I guess. Slap all Health mods, some armor mods on him and facetank bosses while slowly killing them

 

More important: What type of frame do you like? Because then this game will make you even more fun!

Hildryn is good.

Mesa Prime. 

Frost Prime.

If you can't get the prime get the normal version.

 

Don't go saryn prime. You'll get bored. Nuker frames are too op for fun

Saryn Prime is only really good in Sanctuary Onslaught to be honest. Where exactly are you in the storyline?

Also, Hildryn requires the Exploiter Orb to die and there's a time limit to collect the drops and high tail it outta there. Frost Prime and Saryn Prime are vaulted, so you can't get their relics. Mesa Prime is my personal favorite, so i would recommend hunting her down.

My go to frame for when I was a newer player was Frost. Don't bother with prime frames right now, just take time to learn about the game and rank up the base frames first.

Additionally you can get:

• Banshee
• Nezha
• Wukong
• Volt

from a clan very easily.

Nezha and Wukong got great reworks recently too! so try those out while you farm out frames like loki and trinity in the mid level planets.

I probably have to focus on farming resources right now, so I'll consider getting Hydroid.
