For the people complaining about the ivara deluxe skin

To see it rejected for some corporate reasons then? No thanks, m8. I'd better enjoy some digital artists switching from porn to deluxe skins creation. That's way more entertaining.

If you can do a better job, do it.

Your response to those who dislike a skin is to... get hired by DE, replace the current deluxe artist and then implement your own?

That doesn't seem entirely feasible, does it?

If you complain about something, then go fix it, go do a better job or stop complaining

Like I said, that's not very feasible is it?

We can't all be employed by DE to create deluxe skins, can we? Stop running your mouth, you're not making a valid point.

And it was a good attempt, but it wasn't chosen for the skin that they showcased, was it?

You just asked for a better skin. I showed you one. You didn't say that DE had to choose it.

And it's not even about chosing a skin. The art I posted was from someone on the internet. DE would have to talk to the artist to use the skin. DE had no interest in this lovely skin. If they had, if they had reached out to the artist, they could post the repsonce of the artist denying the use of the skin. DE didn't do that. They made their own skin that doesn't look as good...

All in all I ended your thread by showing you a better skin. Exactly what you asked for.

No one is, really. I'm quite disappointed in the reactions regarding the Deluxe skins lately, as they feel less like feedback and more like a demand. And DE seems to give into those foolish demands more and more, and it's not helping.

According to the minimal points the Art Direction takes in Warframe, it's not.

Well... As @WhiteMarker said, yeah... There's already a better job version that is liked more by the community.

That, however, doesn't mean this current version shouldn't exist. I actually like it more after seeing it on the Devstream. Still won't buy it as I like my Obsidin Skin more. I'd only exchange Obsidian Skin for the skin with the fur, the one made by Asturisk.

It's as simple as "don't like it, don't buy it". People be entitled that their own taste equals the rest of the world's. 1-DX skin per frame is a thing of the past and fur physics are way overdue for a proper overhaul. I have no doubt that eventually a better one will come eventually.

I think the Ember Deluxe situation left a bad taste in people's mouth. That's what I've noticed atleast. Art related feedback is very hard because art is much more opinionated than in-game mechanics or rewards. It's much easier to discuss how you would change disruption than alter a skin. The "demands" are more of just very specific outcomes one likes to see in a skin that is personal to them.

Was the artist of this skin contracted by DE? Has their work even showed up before in the game.

I’m starting to think that none of you know how Deluxe Skins are decided upon.

Also that helmet design is far too close to normal Ivara helms design and those legs just wouldn’t work.

As much as many prime/deluxe skin details are close to the original. Personally, I don't find it as close to the original apart from central camera.

Wisp legs work fine. Nova's tennogen skin legs work fine. I can't see any problem with these. Your argument is clearly far-fetched.

To be fair, I’m glad this skin wasn’t considered. Not a fan of the helmet with the horns/ears, facial design certainly displays some semblance for eyes but there’s a jewel in the middle (awkward), the facial and head structure of the helmet is very big and round because of the red cheeks and overall shape of the head.

Thunder thighs: We have enough of those.

Legs and stumps: Not a fan.

The only redeemable feature is the long cloth running down the chest to lower torso and the cloaked arm over the left arm. That’s it. Otherwise everything just screams Furry to me.
