--.Zylux.nVbs.--
We know Ray-Traicing isnt gona be implemented, but what about DLSS? or any new tech that we can get more FPS from this game, I would love to run warframe in QHD-240hz.
FatCuteCat
Just upgrade your pc specifications with high-end intel chip and latest nvidia graphic if you want to gain more fps on Max Setting. Although, Warframe isn't meant to be competitive gameplay to run this game at 240hz 1440p and for me it's overkill. I'm running 144hz on LG monitor and i'm satisfied with it though. peterc3
DE is highly unlikely to spend any time or effort making their game use GPU specific features like the ones only on the RTX line of Nvidia cards. The handful of people that would benefit don't outweigh the vast majority of the players across older nvidia or AMD cards, let alone the players on consoles. NaoPerturbe
DE knows the mess that is the graphical third-party implementations (hence PhysX), and unlike many other games with these features, Warframe is already a very well optimized game to have this... DLSS Nvidia Exclusive.
--.Zylux.nVbs.--
It just gives more fps, is exculusive but doesnt change anything of the appareance... Also isnt hard to put DLSS, DE just need to put an algorithm that allows AI Intelligence to do the tech.....
Myscho
DLSS is trash, we need Resolution scale 100%+ or SSAA first
Dreadwire
Run warframe on 4k and 240hz monitor? Meanwhile i look at my PC. I cried
SirTobe
None of that brand/model exclusive stuff thanks. Especially in these times of way overpriced gfx-cards. There are plenty of improvements they can do to their engine that will work on any modern hardware. Afaik from various streams lately, that's what they are currently working on for an upcoming big graphical update. Since WF is multiplatform they have to prioritize updates that can be carried over to as many platforms as possible.

You are massively over simplifying things here. DE would need to develop (or purchase) said algorithm, put it in place, then test it (quite extensively mind you) before they launch it to players....and what percentage of their playerbase would see the improvements? And then they would need to maintain this going forwards, making sure that any graphical engine improvements/changes don't break it which is an ongoing cost. Its a decent chunk of dev time, and money, spent developing something that only a small portion of their playerbase would even have access to...whats in it for DE? Why go through all of that effort when most players wouldn't get any benefit from it? DE is trying to stay mostly platform agnostic when it comes to specific Hardware so that they don't need to worry about "Well this change does X, Y and Z, and yet it breaks technology A from vendor C....." Things like that can quickly work to make maintaining a codebase a nightmare...and DE needs less spaghetti code if current things are to go by. elmetnuter
DE is actively developing proprietary engines features that benefits it's engine for the sake of frame rate, speed and realistic rendering. Having to depend on external technology that they will to pay for and will benefit only a fraction of players is nonsense.
Mover-NeRo
I dont understand why? If you have RTX card like me you should have no problem with FPS in QHD...i am for example having 140FPS in QHD while underclocking GPU to 60%
Yamazuki
Don't know why people think Ray Tracing is an Nvidia exclusive thing. They just released technology that is dedicated to it before AMD did because they don't want to release gpus that are better than a 1080ti, so they slapped on hardware dedicated to doing ray tracing. AMD has already stated they would eventually support Ray Tracing if it takes off, but of course, they first had to focus on being competitive with NVidia in games without it before worrying about Ray Tracing, especially with Intel possibly entering the GPU market for 2020/2021. It's even been discussed that next generation consoles may have Ray Tracing, which is an AMD based platform.
