What is this in the Jupiter secret rooms?

Ive looted a few of these rooms, and something has always bothered me. 

Right in the doorway after you get though the initial door, theres a marker on the map. Its the little square symbol that usually is a container, but there is no container that i can find.

Its been in the doorway of every single secret room ive encountered, but it seems like its under the ground?

Thinking it was a hidden container, I even tried to break it through the ground with Limbo Cataclysm, no luck.

Anyone know what this is?

It’s a corpse that despawns when you walk over it and drops ammo, but the loot marker is never removed.
