Background Stories

So, we all know that some warframes have their own background stories. Some are revealed in their codex like rhino and ember, some are revealed through their missions like titania and inaros.

Now what about the other warframes, any headcanons perhaps?

and would it be nice if after finally releasing, DE released comic like background story vids like overwatch?

They stopepd such overall because people complain about lack of content and them not able to release frames as fast then, mini comics we had with ghouls, harrow, octavia etc. but also stopped sadly.

This is the way the game goes now, less lore and story for individual frames or expanding on existing ones and instead one update after another with barely new content, except bigger ones like Fortuna or upcoming like Railjack, which i am honest besides the Story Quests like War Within will be lackluster and short lifed.

I would like more storys but with Warframes they are all by now just gimmick frames which of course can be fine on there but no story at all to no frame anymore feels sad.

I am not sure where this was said, but there is gonna be a Lore Codex, that is not quite "a quest and not quite a big lore thing" now in context that means nothing at all, but what Steve was trying to get at is, that there will be likely some Codex with Lore, close to the Fragments we have. Small but quick lore tastes of Frames and such. It's going to be something new and if Players like it, they'll keep doing it.

Edit: With what I got from Steve, its not going to be a full on quest, but its not gonna be just some crappy info slapped onto a Item, So what I can gather its going to be a bit like the Alad V Fragments (the Sentient one) or a bit like the ones with Cetus. Maybe just info to read or a voice over, IMO that seems better then trying to a single quest for a single frame. Unless it fits in with the bigger quests, for example New War.

So in a way Mega, what you said is likely gonna be a thing:  "comic like background story vids like overwatch"

Man I loved the limbo theorem, hidden messages and chains of harrow and how they introduced the frames. 

 

 

That will not be happening anymore sadly. And it really disappoints me. 

There is some vague hint about some "introductory lore" which may happen if they feel like it and the player base accepts it for other frames (not sure if it will be retroactive for frames that already exist)
