Tachigare
Meet Gatari. the Poet, the Storyteller.Gatari soothes all who listen to his tales, bringing inner peace and calm in storms. Come sit down and enjoy a story, Tenno.Abilities:• PunchlineType: Party Buff, ChanellingGatari Presents a story full of wit and jokes, hyping all allies in range. Hyped allies gain extra ability strength and duration, but slightly lowers armor and speed. • RetconType: DispelGatari changes details in his curent story. Resets all allies into their original state, removing debuffs and restoring their shields, health, energy and ammo. Everytime Retcon is used, grant a random buff to Gatari's stats (health, Power Strength, etc). Retcon has a cooldown period of 10 seconds.• DerivativeType: Area Buff, ChanellingGatari makes mention on how his story is similar to another. Gatari spawns 3/4/5 static Kavat shaped ink constructs that distract the enemy. killed Ink-Kavats produce ink blots for gatari to pick up, briefly making all his abilities to cost half energy. While chanelled, killed Ink-Kavats respawn in another location. after Chanelling, Ink-Kavats presist until killed.• TaleType: Ult, Area Buff, Chanelling.Gatari tells the story of the Tenno, and their selfless heroism. Gatari fills the whole platform with words (in Orokin). When all allies are still standing on the scribbled platforms all allies gain immunity to status ailments (toxic procs, burn, slow, magnetism, stagger, etc), regains health and energy, and is afflicted with Tenno's Second Wind: gain Auto revive when downed in the Tale field. Auto revive works once, can be refreshed by exiting and re-entering the Tale field.• The StorytellerType: PassiveGatari's skill efficiency and strength add up overtime the longer skills are held and chained. resets when skill ends.Possible Augments:• Perfect Punchline (Punchline)Hype now also affects weapon Crit chance and status chance by 40/50/60%, stacking additively with the weapon's own Crit and status chance.• Copycat (Derivative)Ink Blots dropped by Ink-Kavats can be picked up by allies, functioning as both a health and energy pickup. restores 25/50/75 Energy and Health.• Legendary Tale (Tale) Enemies who enter Tale's range become distracted by the words that's written all over the field. All enemies move incoherently as they follow the dialogue on the floor instead of the players. Design Notes: Gatari is designed after Rakugoka, Lone Japanese Storytellers who tell stories to the audience, bringing joy and tears. His role in a squad is to tell stories that inspire his friends, prolonging their strength in battle. His appearance is modelled after a Rakugoka, though he styled himself after a certain old painting from before the Orokin Era (The Great Wave of Kanazawa). I also borrowed a bit from Giorno's stand Gold Experience and also a bit from DIO Brando from Part 3. the idea came after a certain JoJo fan "hacked" Tactical Potato's channel and did a Jojo FashionFrame video in it. his name is taken from the Japanese word "Monogatari", literally Story, or Tale.Regarding Abilities:• The Punchline of a joke brings laughter and hyping it's listeners, however it also lowers their guard of their surroundings. thus, the effects of this first skill.• A Retcon is a term used when an author changes past events, either by hand-wave or adding in a new twist that changes the viewer's perspective of the previous iteration of the story. Thus, the second ability.• A Derivative is a "spin off" of the original material, either by only copying an aspect to outright plagiarization. the ability also presents a visual pun: Gatari spawns distracting copies of Kavats, basically a cat in Warframe. you could say they're Copycats.• Tale is filled with tropes you may find in classical and modern "Hero's Journey" stories, and functions as buffs for his listeners. as for the skill's Augment effect, one could get absorbed in an interesting story and become unable to stop reading. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qjcX-zdLhPDaEvETlaRMP5YGJzJCggjb/view?usp=sharing Edited August 23, 2019 by Yonaka4

Debuff on alies is a bad idea , even people complain about volt speed buff. 4 hours ago, Yonaka4 said: • RetconType: DispelGatari changes details in his curent story. Way too stong. 4 hours ago, Yonaka4 said: DerivativeType: Area Buff, ChanellingGatari makes mention on how his story is similar to another. I like this one. 4 hours ago, Yonaka4 said: TaleType: Ult, Area Buff, Chanelling.Gatari tells the story of the Tenno, and their selfless heroism. The problem with this skill is the same problem the rest of the kit has, 3/4 of the kit is just aoe buffs, there is no decision making or aiming involved in these skills. Just using them as soon as the buff expires as the best thing you can do.
