Am I being thick? Equinox's Mend/Maim doesn't seem to do anything.

EDIT: Thanks to a helpful Reddit user, I realised I had mixed up the Night/Day forms.

 

I built Equinox Prime last night and I'm having a blast, but I can't get the hang of Mend/Maim. I activate the power, kill stuff, and press the power button again to end it... with no effect. Mend doesn't heal me at all, and Maim doesn't cause a slash proc.

I can see a counter going up in the top left while I "charge" Mend/Maim with kills, so *something* seems to be happening.

As someone who been playing with it in ESO, not sure what your doing. Might want to share some screenshots.

Just discovered the problem - I had mixed up the night and day forms.
