Builds For Sentinel Weapon? (Sweeper)

Question

I really don't know how I should be building my Sweeper weapon. I know reload time doesn't affect it and stuff. I just want to maximize the potential the sentinel gun has. Any suggestions?

 

Currently I am thinking something along these lines:

Hell's Chamber

Point Blank

Accelerated Blast

Blaze

Incendiary Coat

Flechette

Chilling Grasp

Charged Shell/Shotgun Spazz

I personally don't put mods on my sentinel weapons, but that's just me.

 

I prefer to. It doesn't cost much. I'm a rifle guy, and was overjoyed to have a shotgun sentinel weapon since I can't put rifle mods on my sentinel if I have them on my own rifle.

Shotgun Spazz will yield much better results than charged shell. Aside from that, your setup is about* as high as it's going to get.

 

*Charged shell will do slightly more damage than Chilling Grasp vs unshielded targets. The slow effect is arguably more useful though.

My Sweeper, with no Formas, uses;

 

Point Blank 5

Blaze 5

Hells Chamber 5

Accelerated Blast 5

Shotgun Spazz 5

Flechette 5

Chilling Grasp 0

 

If I forma'd it the last slot would go to fire or elec dmg (probably elec).

 

My 'B' setup is CC and minimal damage so it does less killstealing :)

 

Basically its rank 0 of every element, no +dmg, full multishot, full RoF mods, and Crowd Control 5.

Sorry to necro from 5 days ago, but I was trying to see what builds others are using. I was thinking the exact same mods OP. Definitely use Shotgun spazz over charged shell. If you forma Sweeper 3 times and use the existing polarity (4 polarities in all), then you can fit all maxed mods with 0 points to spare. You cannot switch to charged shell over chilling grasp without 4 formas. I just used my 3rd forma, gotta level and it will be maxed:D
