This is an awful idea. I get the need to make those usable in the 6 main syndicates, but after this change goes live there will be no actual reason to ever scan simaris targets, run K-drive races or play conclave since their rewards will become available through passive gameplay. 

I mean, there used to be a war against letting people trivialize already existing content and now you suddenly make a 180° that allows players to obtain gear and rewards from the aforementioned syndicates without actually playing their activities. I hope this is reconsidered and the universal syndicate stays as a token for the 6 main ones only.

1. No one plays conclave. Unless you want to be Ignis stunlocked and humiliated. I want the skins, though.

2. Which activities? Play extermination for 30 minutes for 3k + some fancy Sculptures, when I max out my DAILY STANDING OF 21k in 25 waves Hydron in the same time?

I do, i care about the mode, and can beat any ignis user coming my way. People being unable to aim at an enemy should not be a reason for DE to give in to the playerbase's homungous sense of self entitlement.

Playing K-drive races, playing conclave, scanning simaris targets or just scanning whatever gets in the way. 

If you're getting burnt out on hydron instead of playing the whole game and getting your rep maxed passively it's a you issue, but i see no reason for DE to add even more stuff to passive gameplay and specially now that disruption nodes will be the go-to place for a while.

Why was it seen as necessary to override existing Planetary nodes like this? I get wanting to get rid of Ice Planet Escort, but getting rid of Capture and Spy nodes is not a good idea. Why not just add more nodes, like what happened with Jupter Disruption?

Also, a lot of the new metallic shaders don't seem to be working, resulting in flat, matte textures. My Liset, for instance, no longer has any sheen, or seemingly any shaders to speak of.

The new metallics are completely horrendous. My frames look like they're covered in cheap yellow plastic. Not to mention the eyeblasting light. Do you not see how bad this is? Did nobody even bother to QA this?

Every time you mess with the lighting engine the metals in this game have become less shiny and reflective, more matte and dull. This is too far. For the love of god, change it back and stop messing with it.

My heart skipped a beat when i saw the new "plastic" rendering 😕

New metallic rendering is DOWNRIGHT HORRIBLE. Please consider rolling that back. I hope you are not nerfing the metallic rendering quality to cater to consoles and toasters. I feel like I'm playing with plastic G.I.JOE toys and not metallic Warframes and weapons. As much as I was looking forward to Gauss, this update gave me one frame in exchange for ruining the looks of everything else.

I'm tired of this trend. For the first time since 2013 I have to say that I'm not playing until they revert or fix this.

Your choices are no one's responsibility but your own. The change is a great quality of life fix and your negativity is very unproductive. 

Be happy you are able to play the game. If you can't find happiness in that then maybe it would be a good idea to look for something that gives you more happiness.

As great as this update was, there is one glaring issue that is glanced over: focus lens. More specifically, why is a new one being introduced so late? It invalidates much of the progress done in lens creation as you cannot remove lens from existing items. That means anyone with a Greater or Eidolon lens equipped on their items would have to waste a massive amount of time regrinding them before they have to grind even more to get the Lua lens or otherwise spend a deal of platinum to regain the time lost wasted due to being unable to remove lenses from items. 

Please make lenses removable from items. The current system feels clunky and more likely than not confusing for new players while simultaneously hampering old players.

Thanks for the update, DE! Only issue is the lighting and some textures.

- Contrast is way up and everything is washed out. Lights make everything white while shadows are too dark.

- Blast effects for melees look like meatballs

- Almost anything that’s supposed to be metallic is matte

- Lightning/electricity arcs don’t look like they should, and instead are tiled lines on bent paper.

The other frames do. Which is what I am saying. So I will play them.

Specularity is lost on polished metal, like they cranked the strenght of the glossy material all the way from 0.1 to 1. Prisma effects are lost on a wide array of elements, from the landing crafts to weapons and attachments. The oily reflections from Fortuna's coolant and puddles is lost and you can see through them like if they were mere water.

Amongst other bugs, some cosmetics for sentinels like the wings have incorrect orientation. And overall, the dark deep colours look mate without the correct gloss parameters they previously had. If these changes are going to stay, I request an option for LEGACY RENDERING (which looked way better).

The glare of the Vallis during day is horrendous, even with the "glare effect" off on the settings, the fog catches so much light it blurrs the scenery more than it should 😞
