GingaNinjah
Is anyone experiencing the x27 amp barely damaging the Eidolons? Specifically in solo
taiiat
are the cases you're comparing the same? the Damage results of the Shraksun Scaffold heavily depends on how many times it can Pierce the Eidolon and if/where the Explosion at the end of its travel hits the Eidolon. GingaNinjah
Normally I try to hit him from his foot all the way up to his head, in that angle. I would see the damage numbers even hear the little impact noises and have a fair amount of his shield reducted on ever bar of amp energy. Now when I go to battle him I get one hit and very very low damage. My amp was working ok before the update.
TheVinn
amp damage across the board seems nerfed after the update.
Lolacrayola
No it doesn't. I'm getting exactly the same dmg numbers before and after the update. Shraksun: 801 explosion crit, 561 initial impact crit. Propa: 414 non crit and 1494 crit.
sinnae
I have a 127 and the alt-fire tends to get "caught" on lures or other objects whose hitboxes are there but don't look like they're there. This feels like a no-reg but I suppose is just working as intended. Anyway, get right under the eidolon's legs/heels and shoot up at medium to close range and you should see a bunch of damage numbers pop up. Asking for a favor, or if anyone can please when you battling the eidolon can you screenshot your damage values especially with the x27 please? Because I am no where near getting the damage i used to get on mine, even if I use Madurai its still not doing damage. This is what I get now and notice I only get one Number not like before the update I will get a bit more

I have close to 200 captures I know where to strategically shoot from, just dont know why my amp is worst than the mote amp. Takes me about 5-6 mins to take his shield down Edited August 30, 2019 by ChevC add more info
kikasnoob
I have experienced the “zero damage amp” (223, 227, 777) bug a few times since the update during both solo and squad hunts, but this update is not the time it’s happened, Ive noticed there is always something a little off with eidolon hunting after an update, some that are meta changing (and never get fixed) and some that go unnoticed by most. But yeah your amp and it’s damage is messed up at the moment and so is mine but it will come right, its just a bug that’s why some people are saying that their amps damage hasn’t changed at all. Ayures
Are x27 amps supposed to do more than that? It takes me a full energy bars to drop an eidolon's shields. It's been this way since I made it a few weeks ago. Edited August 30, 2019 by Ayures
George_PPS
Each new update seems to introduce new bugs for Eidolon hunt. Hope it gets fixed.

ReclusiveMerc
Just did a pub as volt, maxed void strike and most of the time I was doing hardly any damage, 727 amp, standing right by him shooting the knee. It's definitely broken, it took at least twice to three times as long to take shield down than when I was using zenurik and chroma. Lolacrayola
Ok I tested Shraksun and it no longer has secondary impacts. Normally Shraksun has a primary impact, multiple secondary impacts and an explosion. Now you get the primary impact and the explosion but none of the secondary impacts. So then the amp itself is useless? Intended by DE or bugged? I dont think i can sit hammering away on my mouse for 1 hour to kill one eidolon. Any other amp recommendation sir? And thx alot for confirming it. Edited August 30, 2019 by ChevC typo
Lolacrayola
I very much doubt its intended. Shraksun has had innate punch through since forever. For now use Propa scaffold (x77) in groups. For some solo dolon strats its kinda hard to replace Shraksun due to its ammo economy and crit reliability. Both of these enable arcanes with short duration buffs like Virtuos Strike. The guaranteed impact proc is irreplaceable for proccing Virtuos Fury. Propa isn't a drop in replacement in these instances. Edited August 31, 2019 by Lolacrayola
AuroraSonicBoom
Klamora also doesn't have any secondary impacts anymore. Does about 1/3 to a 1/4 of the damage by my estimates.
GingaNinjah
An here is the kicker now.........Crafting a new AMP, needs toroids, guess what DE screwed that up as well. Toroids not dropping or for that matter in 3 hours I have gotten 2. GG DE you showed me how smart you all are

Toroids not dropping or for that matter in 3 hours I have gotten 2. GG DE you showed me how smart you all are You can still reliably get Calda and Sola toroids from Scyto and Kyta raknoids respectively (20% drop chance for both). Taking over a base will spawn these as the alert levels go up. A total of 5-6 Scyto and a handful of Kyta raknoids also spawn during Profit Taker Phase 4. Save your Vega toroids though! The Mite Raknoids sports a 1% drop chance for Vega toroids and the only other way to get them is from Profit Taker Phase 1 runs. I have gotten all Vega, Calda and Sola toroids from Mite, Scyto and Kyta even after the update landed. So this at least works!

I soloed it yesterday with Pilfdroid, and just farmed the raknoids; place Hydroid in a nook somewhere near exploiter where he can't get hurt but with line of sight to the ground somewhere before it set up a tentacle patch there stand in it with operator luring the mites catch the toroids 'till tentacles despawn get your operator killed to go back to Hydroid back to 2. My pilfdroid was too weak for the outside phase to win it solo, but you can just extract then anyway. Got 10 + 8 vega toroids that way (2 runs); I can't remember how long it took me (was more of a leisure fight), but can't have been more than 2 hours I think.
