ashaceawe
Enemies are alerted through the use of the simaris synthesis scanner, regardless of distance from target. Tried in closed world mission as well in Plains of Eidolon with similar effect. Please fix, otherwise unable to gain simaris standing except in numerous minute scans of alerted enemies, which is highly inefficient.

sonic55193
I'm Farming focus on Adaro too, enemies detect me through walls even when their backs turned from me. I thought I was going crazy because it wasn't like that yesterday. Edited August 30, 2019 by sonic55193
akots
Confirming, after the patch hit, this is exactly the case. I tried Loki and Ivara with and without sentinels (Carrier-P, Helios-P). Simply point the scanner without finishing the scan already alerts the enemies. It seems that some targets still can be stealth-scanned provided that they are facing away and are around 30+ meters away, not sure about the exact distance. Same seems to be the case with stealth kill bonus. Simply pointing the bow and charging the shot already alerts the enemies. They do not attack, simply move to the position where the frame was while alerting the whole nearby crowd, which follows suit. There is some radius to the alert. They all come and stare at you. Checked also in a mission on Saturn and in Plains of Eidolon, same thing. Pretty peculiar AI behavior, seems like it needs a fix. JHarlequin
It seems that any tools freak out enemies. It compounds in some places like orb vallis and Plains because then every enemy ever stays agro endlessly. Enemies spawning more than 200 meters away behind things and around walls take a moment before they decide to be angry and start shooting at you as soon as they get a direct line to shoot at you. Cameras and conservation tools seem to be drawing agro on anything within massive ranges and then leave everything angry.
Lady_Silver
I have proof of the enemies doing this on my reddit post. Ive tested on all warframes that can go invisible, all do the same thing when scanning with the synthesis scanner. They (the enemies) did not do this prior to the Gauss update.Proof

Giantconch
Also confirming, tried scanning targets with Hushed Invisibility augment on Loki, every enemy was alerted.
vitreloy
Yep, I do scanning daily and after the update, stealth scan is nearly impossible, only a minimum chance of success but all scan will sure alert enemy plus the enemy near by will alert too, no matter what. PS: I really hope that they didn't do this purposely so that synthesis target is more difficult to scan since the 1st scan will alert them and they will running around all over the place.
