Sprint Activation In Warframe

I have a really big problem with how the sprint activation in Warframe works:

 

At the moment when you push the sprint button first, and then the direction button, you only walk in that direction instead of sprinting, this makes wallruns harder, and absolutely makes no sense. We are space ninjas with frames that let us swing giant warhammes and hit more than 10 times in a second with dual daggers, so why cant we sprint out of the standing?

 

I would like to sprint when I first push my sprint button, then the direction button. That would be nice.

Indeed. Sprint is busted. It makes me unhappy.
