X-Ray Warframe Overlay

There is an overlay for warframes when you are looking through the wall at them that causes them to glow white so that you still know where your allies are.

 

My friend has this issue:

No matter where we stand we glow like he's looking at us through a wall or a box.  I'm not even entirely sure what I want to look up to find this bug so if anyone could lend some info it would be appreciated.

This is a very common bug that I find to happen more often with a laggy host or a low frame rate. Don't worry, this is a very common thing. Your friend's computer isn't going to explode or anything.

You could get your friend to visit https://digitalextremes.zendesk.com/requests/new , to provide a support ticket. I would strongly recommend getting him to provide his Ee.log file that's stored on C:\Users\<hisComputerAccount>\AppData\Local\Warframe when submitting his ticket. This is a record of the entire session of Warframe as it was last run, and could help DE pinpoint the issue.

I have this issue myself. Ive had it ever since U8 and I personally found that turning off local reflections graphics option sometimes helps with the issue.
