Well... Most of the arcanes and all of the new auras are just garbage and don't have any use at all... There are way better alternatives for them...

You guys should rethink that!

Exept aura for charged weapons... they are trash yep...

But the most important thing is for what you use Vitus.

First of all, a huge thank you for listening when it comes to bringing rotation times down in Arbitrations. It's easy to start thinking that feedback doesn't amounts to nothing sometimes, but this rekindled my hope. That said, I do have some concerns.

Current excavation is already faster than many other mission types rotation will be even after the changes, and it's going to become even faster. While other modes won't be as much of a slog anymore, the efficiency gap will still remain substantial. This is especially problematic for Survival, with its rigid time-based rotations that can't be influenced by player performance in any way. An option to make the slower missions faster through higher risk play would be very welcome (like spending towers in survival to shave off a bit of the timer instead of increasing life support, or summoning two waves at the same time in defense).

With more frequent reward cycles we’ve decided to include a few new goodies, adding variety to all the Endo and sculptures you’ll be earning:

  • Five new Aura mods that follow a more Nightmare or Corrupted style! (Final numbers will be posted in Update notes.)
    • Verticality: + Aim Glide / - Damage Taken while Airborne
    • Wicked Strikes: + Faster Charge Attack / + Combo Counter
    • Loyal Herd: + Companion HP / + Companion Armor
    • Bloodletter: -HP on kill for self / +HP on kill for Allies
    • Bladed Restraint: - Melee Combo on Self / + Melee Combo on allies
  • You can expect five new Warframe Arcanes as well!
    • On Rifle Kill: Melee damage increased by x for y seconds
    • On Melee Kill: Rifle damage increased by x for y seconds
    • On Pistol Headshot: x% ammo efficiency for y seconds
    • On Six Melee Kills: Heal companion by x
    • On Heavy Weapon Summon: Gain x armor for y seconds
  • Drop tables will also include the occasional bundle of 5x Cyan Stars or 3x Vitus Essence.
  • Kuva has been added to the Arbiter Offerings, for purchase with Vitus Essence.

Besides the slow rotations, one of the biggest letdowns in Arbitrations are undesirable rewards:

  • Ephemera blueprint - every player only needs one, after that it serves no purpose
  • Mods - players need only one to at most a few copies, can be traded but with the exception of Adaptation they're not wanted enough to hold good value
  • Aura Forma blueprints - there's a limited amount of these that a player might need, and it's impossible to craft them as much as we're getting them because nitain is a resource that's limited by Nightwave.

Adding more mods, especially ones that appear to be rather niche, will only worsen the situation. Ideally I'd propose moving all the mods and Seeding Step blueprint to Arbiters' store. Aura forma is more debatable as some players might want it in higher quantity, and arcanes would at least have decent longevity as drops and on the player marked because of how they're ranked up. But really, what players doing Arbitrations want for the most part is Endo.

As for the new rewards themselves..

Wicked Strikes: + Faster Charge Attack / + Combo Counter

Could this please be anything other than charge attack? They're unpopular for a reason, and even speeding them up with a bandaid isn't going to change that. On top of that, they're not even present on Wukong's staff, and since that was supposed to be a taste of melee 3.0, aren't we supposed to anticipate them being phased out in general? I'll admit that having combo counter time on an aura is unexpectedly tempting (especially if it's a 9 capacity one like the other melee aura, Steel Charge) but the charge attack is really a wasted bonus.

On Six Melee Kills: Heal companion by x

What is this intention behind this one? We already have (Primed) Pack Leader, which can heal pets on every attack. Even if this arcane includes sentinels, it does nothing to rectify their survivability problems and permanent death (with the exception of Djinn, of course).

The rest I'm not really too excited for if I'm being honest, unless the numbers are truly impressive, but although niche they seem usable enough that some people will probably find an use for them.

  • Endo rewards will be reduced to roughly 75% of what they once were (since you’ll be receiving rewards twice as often). Rare non-endo reward drop rates are unchanged - you’ll just get twice as many chances!

Idk why i wouldn't just run Rathuum at that point. Its faster if you have a good group and not as challanging. It would be better if it was 40-50% reduced, cause it's going to be harder.

Also the Ephemera should be moved to the shop because they clog the drop table if you already have them.

you sure you dont want it to cost 100,000 credits and the soul of our first born like amber stars???

hey how about how you made kuva disruption equally as worthless as normal kuva survival.  actually. it might be more worthless? the thing about earning rewards is that you always have to compare them to "time earned compared to X"    like hey did you know with some random booster on log in you can go do a flood and have  2000+ kuva in 5 minues. now imagine just buying a week long booster and doing that over anything else. you will have 100,000 kuva

Loyal Herd: + Companion HP / + Companion Armor

Might as well just rework this one right now, unless a companion rework is coming with it.

I love my Huras, but not a chance in the void that I'd give up my aura slot for that over something else, on any frame. Companions just aren't good enough to make up the loss of warframe effectiveness I'd get from any other aura.

Edit: I'd like to clarify this a little more to explain why this aura is a trash mod, because if this is something you're really putting in the game, then you need to be looking at the full picture instead of leaving things broken and trying to hang a pretty picture in front of it the way it's too frequently done around here. At times, my 5-forma kubrow, Bayang, is a more effective ally than my teammates but that is not my universal experience with companions.

  • They have DE's AI. They're subject to the often questionable logic of NPCs in this game. While my Huras tends to keep a reasonable proximity, my moa, WALL-E is frequently, and very literally, on the opposite side of the mission map getting himself killed. This is especially odd considering my kubrow needs to be in melee range of the enemies, and my moa can shoot which means it should be able to continue killing while stuck to my hip, and only straying further when it is supposed to be hacking consoles for me...
  • Kubrows/Kavats require upkeep. I don't really mind the maintenance as much these days since the upgraded segment prevents them from dying and drastically reduces how often I have to deal with them after the changes made to it.
  • I've seen my Huras one-shot a Nox, with his maxed out Bite, Maul and Venom Teeth. That's awesome. Except that never happens. I would sincerely be happy with my kubrow dealing only 1/3rd of the damage, but attacking at 300% of his current rate. In a game where we are fighting off hoards of enemies, and Warframes are capable of committing genocide with a snap of their fingers, my companion being able to kill one enemy occasionally is a joke.
  • Survivability is dependent on link mods, which encourages only using them with tankier frames. Note: I was thrilled when companions were given the ability to use the sentinel survival mods. First thing I did was pull out my kubrow with my Nyx and threw on the "Enhanced" stat mods. His stats went down. -_-. On my Nyx. His stats were better with Link mods...with Nyx. Wut? I don't know if that was a bug, and I never went back to look again, but if that's the case it's a cruel joke, DE. Seriously.
  • Another major issue with them is the limited ability to swap due to the whole stasis chamber thing. Especially now that I have all of the Simaris Sentinel augments, I'm regularly using certain Sentinels I hadn't touched in years (looking at Dethcube and Wyrm), and loving others that I already used (Djinn) across my various loadouts. But I also regularly use my Huras kubrow. I'd like to put other kubrows, and definitely kavats to more use...except it's a pain in the butt to manually remove them from stasis, and equip them in my loadouts in between missions so the few players that actually use companions over sentinels tend to exclusively use one specific one. At least the option to have one kubrow and one kavat out of stasis would be an improvement for loadout purposes.

Nice changes, now, it would be nice if you did a similar "less grind" treatment for Kuva sources. Or better, give us some control over the slot machine that is Riven rolling system.

" Endo rewards will be reduced to roughly 75%. "

Please no....the chance of endo even dropping is bad enough, now you make it so we'll only get 800 or so if it DOES? I can understand 25-45% but...75% endo nerf? yikes.

Did you mean to say 50%? because that's how your reasoning should work; if we're getting effectively double rewards, they should be reduced by half. 75% is too much.

TO 75%. Not by 75%. They're already doing what you're asking for in this post.

Thanks for the update.

I haven't seen it lately, but defection arbitrary mission can use some updates. It was a real pain to do. I don't know what to improve btw. Maybe make the defectors' AI smarter. One got stuck and separated from the group sometimes.

Those changes somewhat address the rewards (kinda of, as the actual rewards still aren't that great), but not the mode itself.

The arbitration drones shouldn't drop Vitus Essence....they should be completely eliminated. These aspects of the game that nullifies abilities need to go. You are encouraging the use of a handful of Warframes and forgetting about the others. You combine these awful drones and nullifier stuff with the former permadeath and the current debuffs to revive allies and you disencourage the use of anything other than Wukong, Inaros and a few handpicked others. Why put Mag on rotation for +strength if her abilities become useless and you are more likely to die all the time? That is an absolutely awful design choice to artificially increase difficulty....a make believe.

Then comes the spawn rates in certain modes. Sometimes Survival is impossible to keep up because the few enemies that spawn also don't drop life support....which also provides less life support than in normal survival.

So, arbitration is both boring and is not rewarding. You have two problems to tackle.

This seems like its only going to make arbis even worse. It already feels bad when you get seeding step more than once but now your going to dilute the reward table even more with these bad arcanes and auras as well as reducing the endo? It would of been better to just make the new rewards available from the shop since there not much in there anyways. The 5 min rewards should of been a thing from the start but de is way too stingy with rewards for some reason.

I like the general feel of most of this. My main thing is the events really need a mix up to them. Part of what makes Disruption fun is the random boons and curses that happen. I really would like to see more than just invulnibility. Right now the Drones encourage bringing a AOE primary or secondary with punch through to kill and they will kill all attached. A greater verity of drones would be more favorable to me...

A little roomba one that speeds along boosting attack and movement speed dramaticly.

A balloon one that floats by and then "hardens" to create an Gara type arena, trapping us in with enemies.

A "deflection" bubble that causes range attacks to go wide around it and we have to melee.

Just a few that I thought of.

this sounds like literally the same thing with a different coat of paint. you're just giving us dopamine hits more often, but the grind is the exact same.

on paper it sounds bogus, well see how it do when it's out.

i approve of the new mods. at least some(depends on their numbers) of them.

This must be the wokest comment I've seen on the forums in a long time...

When the update is released, we will also run a script to increase players’ existing Vitus stockpiles by an equivalent amount. If you had 2 Vitus before the update, you’ll have 3 after!

nice to see a currency change also helping player inventory rather than hurting it.

Wait... I just realized you're adding all this to the RNG drops. No. Please no.  Throw them in the store or something. Whole reason I don't farm Edialons is because I hate the RNG to get the Arcanes from them. I would actually do that more if the arcanes were just put into the store for exchange of the shards off of Eidalons. This is no different. Having the drop pool this diluted will just kill the mode from me because this is all gimmick stuff and while cool, I don't want to wait for the slot machine to decide I get my +1 arcane when the game already doesn't require any signficant power level to do stuff. I mean I am already making up my own challenge modes, like asking my clan what handy caps I should give myself for doing a specific Riven challenge like I am taking a dare back in grade school.

Note: Same thing goes with Vaults, Nightmares, and most of this other stuff... If you're going to put in all these different currencies in the game (and you have a crap ton of them), then I would rather have stores to get rewards for the currencies rather than another RNG mechanic.
