Kefirno
This is complete BS. My friend can't access his account for almost a week already because DE just locks (bans until 2035) inactive accounts without a warning or any means to manually restore it. At least have some properly functioning support if that's how you gonna handle account "protection".

Locking an account for inactivity is quite unusual in free2play games, since the devs always hope for returning players to be able to instantly come back, when a new patch hits. So, from a business perspective, this makes no sense.

Whether he actually did whatever it was, or someone who guessed their way into the account, there's nothing you or anyone else here can do about it. Have your friend log a ticket. Leyvonne
Idk why so many of you think DE doesn't ban inactive accounts or that the year 2035 means a real ban. DE does ban inactive account and when they do it says the account is banned until 2035. They do it to prevent the account getting hacked or sold and there is no way around it other than support so they can verify the ownership of the account. Dark_Lugia
- https://www.warframe.com/terms The accounts are getting deactivated by "banning" them. Just submit a support ticket and you´ll get it back (As far as I know DE hasn´t been deleting deactivated accounts till now (Even if they have the right). The chance to reactivate the account should be pretty high) Edited September 18, 2019 by Dark_Lugia
Drachnyn
Usually this happens because someone tries to break into the account and it gets locked for safety. Exactly that happened to a friend of mine and he got it resolved through support but it took like 2 weeks because warframe support is rather slow. Haldos
Your friend will have to take their issue solely with support. If they have already made a ticket, it is simply a matter of time before they will be able to review the situation and (More than likely) be reinstated after said review. https://digitalextremes.zendesk.com/hc/en-us A thread here, even if meant to be feedback, will not resolve the issue. It's best left to support. Locking thread.
