I'm done with Warframe. Goodbye.

Recommended Posts

Recently I have played the game maybe an hour in a week. No interest at all in doing that crappy chore that is Nightwave only to get umbra forma (why force players to do pointless and boring stuff?) or farming kuva to put on some rivens DE will probably nerf in some near future. Above all, I am definitely tired of a game that gives me no challenge and no interesting content since a long, long, long time. So, after 3000 hours and at mr27 I have decided to leave WF and play something else. I hope DE will read this feedback as this is the main feeling of a consistent portion of long time players (And yes, I am sure of that). Goodbye.

With feedback like that, then no great loss.

Bye!

Sounds to me like you didn't play all that much to begin with. So Nightwave was never really meant for you.
And if you only played for an hour per week, then you aren't all that interesting for DE as a customer.

Hey, at least it's the correct section, right?

I mean... 3000 hours is pretty good playtime to get out of a game tbh.. I finally crossed 1000 on my account and tbh it's not something I'm exactly proud of lol. No shade thrown to the vets out there - first game that I've played for that long though. But I feel like even if I stopped liking Warframe right now I'd have gotten a lot of positive out of it by this point.

Unfortunately there’s no ‘useless’ section, so this is the next correct section, you’re right

DE won't even care for one angry person. That is the main rule of gaming industry and probably any other buisnesses. One man means nothing and cannot do anything to change something. Players should have abandon tha game and then they would see. IIRC players of EVE online stopped doing PVP stuff or something like that and devs lost money because of that

I'm sorry, emotional outbursts due to not understanding the game enough to see the point in playing it cannot be filed under "feedback".

Lol. Yeah, that's kinda the idea when you get bored of one game. You go play something else. Not even the devs play WF exclusively. I quit WF every day too. Lol

Not sure why you consider this feedback when all you’re doing here is just complaining.

At the end of the day though, if you want to quit Warframe and play a different game, that’s fine. Just don’t make a thread about it ‘cause all you’re doing is just complaining.

Pretty much accurate lmao.

Like, if someone wants to quit Warframe, that’s fine and dandy. Just don’t go making a thread complaining about it. 🤪

Honestly its less about `just one person leaving` and if D.E. does not put some care to notice when players are dropping or a continuous complaint is showing up, then this `just one person leaving` is gonna repeat dozens, hundreds or even thousands of times. Even worst if one specific region has alot more players dropping out in a boycott like fashion.

Though PVP can be a easy medium for developers to make a kind of sustainable content, poor implementation of it or not having any fresh-ness on it definitely ruins it. Especially why i feel when games are not designed for direct pvp, they be better off doing a pseudo pve/pvp hybrid in a form similar to a time attack race (players race to clear their stages quicker, with usually a way to interfer with the enemy team in place), never the less, its not the only thing that ruins warframe, its just one of the many ancient failures that have yet to be gutted out, replaced/removed and smooth what is left into something fun.

Never the less, if i had to drop all attachment and go full on straight on reasons why i stick with warframe at the moment, its likely because i do not have anything else i play with as much engrossment since i dropped FF14, rarely play PC games with the keyboard anymore, plus trying other f2p games on the PS4 console did not stick well with me. Hence why my eyes keep sliding over to the fact Phantasy star online 2 is going global and on console next year, old game that actually came out in 2012 but still has a charm i can`t forget, especially how i spent a good while on it even thru using translation patches and sticking to the `english only` ship that basically was an unofficial thing.

Funny how this thread gave me a nice tad reminder on some of my recent reasons for not enjoying some games, is cause of frustrating elements, yet warframe had them but likely because they weren`t much of a care, becoming more of a noticeable as extra content came about and things like host migration, riven mod messery, the flaws of the relic system, market chat in general but mostly post-riven mod release and so many more that became more annoying then trying to scour a old-style maplestory market channel up to 20+ rooms with no search function just for one specific rare item at a low price, then repeating that process for a different item each day for a week.

Welp i already plan to drop Mobius Final Fantasy at the end of the month or so after the battle tower ranking event, so i do not think i need to go full crazy on dropping warframe all of a sudden despite still having a few things i want to get and do not have many good alternatives to last me for likely 3 to 5 months.

No real point in them unless they give away their stuff before leaving, which doesn't happen 99.9% of the time.

Problem is a lot of quit threads pretty much looks the sames as OP - short and very little feedback (and occasionally expressing anger). It's very rare to come across a quit thread that actually has meaningful feedback. These were the only ones I could find that are good within 20 minutes of Google searching.

Sorry to hear you've decided to leave. May you find enjoyment in whatever game you decide to pick up next.
