(XBOX)Yufix4574
This mod is worse than useless, this mod decreases the weapon dps, though the stat increased was dmg, for any fire rate debuff to keep the dps balanced need a dmg buff double compared to debuff, but it is not even dmg, is crit chance and crit is less useful than dmg. Same for Citical Deceleration and Creeping Bullseye. Now this mod at max rank has, 9 Drain, +48% Crit Chance, -36% Fire Rate. A better version of this mod can be, 11 Drain, +150% Crit Chance, -60% Fire Rate. (max rank arcane acceleration can negate all the fire rate debuff) What do you think of this version? BUFF THIS MOD PLZ Edited September 24, 2019 by (XB1)francy x096

(XBOX)GodMasterTP
That mod also has double negative on bows/crossbows, so it becomes -72% fire rate.

The mod is meant for weapons like grakata or soma, which benefit more from added crit chance, while lower firerate helps with recoil control and ammo conservation. This mod is ancient, when it was introduced there were not much alternatives. Today you'd better use some other mod.

What they should do is go back and give negatives to every mod so that building anything requires a series of steep trade offs. Or, well, they should if the game were not about reaching godhood in combat and then effortlessly batting aside everyone that stands in your way.

I thought about this. Kinda implement some kind of conclave mod system. Stats alterating mods, not strictly upping power. Then just lower enemies' EHP and voila. No mod dependancy, everything is viable, every gun is modded to people's preferences without mandatory serrations. Sadly it is not happening in near future.

It's not that simple, you guys really lack knowledge about balance. Edited September 22, 2019 by (XB1)XG1anBl4derX

It's funny you used 'genius' as sarcasm, yet you can't comprehend a simple sentence. Mods like serration would still be mandatory, they straight up increase damage. The only alternative to make mods like those not necessary, is if you nerf them so hard that the buffs will be negligible. And people would end up asking for buffs on them again, infinite loop. That's not how balance works.

Dude, if you don't want to contribute with the feedback so don't participate. @thread, yes. Critical delay and some old mods deserve a revisit, i remember that we got a mod that increase only 15 sc.
Madway7
Personally I think it should be 80 - 100% CC with -30% fire rate Though in any case I think the penalty should be 50% at most, to avoid having to use Vile Acceleration or the acolyte mod for the slightest amount of net benefit. They could buff it someday, like they randomly buffed Magnum Force out of the blue Edited September 24, 2019 by Madway7
