Whammy bar on Shawzin constantly going berserk

When I use my Shawzin the whammy bar keeps flashing and it messes with my songs. This is a brand new controller with no analog stick issues and I tested it with a slightly older controller that also didn't suffer any analog stick issues and it still kept freaking out. I tested it on keyboard and mouse and it stopped doing it, but playing with that on PS4 is really difficult because you can't adjust mouse sensitivity which is really high by default and you can't see what buttons you're supposed to push. I switched back to the controller and it continued freaking out again. I know the shawzin isn't exactly important to the main game, but there's currently a contest for playing Shawzin songs and I'd appreciate it if this could be fixed.
