On top of making looting missions more interesting, you could make it so that going in with all looting frames makes the experience more intense/difficult and might require a 'bodyguard' warframe to be present for better looting. Maybe one warframe that's a weaker looter could be a better bodyguard etc.

Also perhaps a new intense game mode on each planet that is most efficient for looting but creates a more 'all or nothing' situation where the player has to make the trade off between extra loot and extra protection.

I know you want to balance things and this rough idea might be of use to you to make it more engaging to players without aggravating them by replacing existing systems.

My main concern was for resources regarding dojos.

Essentially when the nerf hit, that made all dojo tiers twice as costly.  As a competitive dojo builder that really sucks when they are already prohibitively costly for high detail and unique room builds that go to capacity for every room in your dojo that is at max rooms...

Let me explain the problem just in case anyone is listening:

The move from storm to mountain is one I did before, but reverted and cut players who were even pretty active because when you recruit players, generally, they need a lot of help and aren't able to farm for hours for dojo stuff as they aren't capable of the builds needed, and also have many other more pressing priorities like endo and basic mods and a few frames to tackle different challenges, learning trade well enough not to worry about slots, etc.

We have tackled this by creating a  30 Page manual to educate all new players up to endgame levels, and by doing regular giveaways to help players advance, but all of that costs time and energy that is also otherwise not spent on farming for dojo stuff.

Mountain tier specifically is the most challenging spot to be in.  mainly because players that want to be in a big clan want a moon to start.  players that want to have a small clan usually don't want more than storm.  Players that are capable of dojo farming are fewer when you recruit up a new level, which means basically you get hit with a stiff penalty at mountain in that you have the same 5-10 people that can farm and carry the rest of the clan, while also now increasing the number of people that need help from 100-up to 300 and that's a lot of weight with adding the additional cost increase, meaning, we had to make the decision to stay capped at storm until the dojo is entirely done, turning people away that would otherwise benefit a lot from playing with our clan so that we don't get burned out farming for dojo rooms.

As a clan leader I can say for certain it makes it disincentivized for us to move to mountain or moon until the dojo is effectively done, which means we are actively not growing the warframe community as we otherwise could on purpose, which is not in line with what DE should want (to grow the community for new players as much as possible for the sake of additional revenue opportunities).  The nerf to loot frames made this even worse.

@Klokwerkaos I hear you. My Clan strategy is to stay Ghost until all dojo rooms are built and in a layout I'm happy with and then all rooms are fully decorated and everyone is satisfied with the layout. By this logic 1 good member is worth 100 good members and so my 3-4 really helpful members is the equivalent of having 300-400 really good members in a Moon clan. It's pretty obvious that this is extremely unfeasible for a Moon clan to pull off and that in reality its going to be a handful of members slogging away for hours to build one chair. As a warlord, increasing the clan size diminishes my control over the clan. Want to build another room for 1 Forma? No problem! Want to build another room for 100 Forma? I better beg and incentivise my clan heavily to accomplish that.

People also won't like that their significant contribution of resources only counts for 1/5th of a decoration and that is going to demotivate people further from donating.

For now until all details are sorted my clan is stuck being a tiny clan without much activity or community events (which is pretty tough on my members). I want my clan to get these sorts of opportunities which are only possible in a larger clan size. I welcome any changes DE does to balance this serious problem.

@Klokwerkaos Got any tips on attracting such people? Most people that are that rank are "Married" to their existing clan already. I have a very beautiful dojo for what its worth which might help sell the clan to people who want an interesting dojo to explore

Also just out of curiosity, is it possible to hit max rooms, max cap all furnishings (not decorated as much as thrown in rooms like storage, upgrade clan and the sell the rooms furnishings at the increased price?  It would allow me to get the resources now and increase clan size without worrying about being unable to decorate.

all items are refunded at the rate of investment, so no.

also there is no way to attract max mr people, they come in every so often, or you just help them yourself to get up in rank with giveaways and contests and such.

a nice dojo doesn't really matter except to the people that like your clan already.  i find for most people it's a reason to stay, not a reason to join.  a select few might really care about dojo appearance but at lower level clans, most people are just worried about 100% research.  the reason is because every  decorator likes to think they are awesome so they say as much when recruiting, so it really doesn't amount to much and most people won't bother to want to see before joining.  the people i have had do that all stayed, but of them there was about maybe 10 or so out of a thousand or so people i've recruited in my day, so maybe, 1%

I recruit often.  I'd say picking up people over mr 24 is about 1% or a little less of the people i recruit.  usually they come from a few places, old player returning to defunct clan, or they didn't gel with the last management and either were sent on or sent themselves off to greener pastures.  the key is to grow very slowly and keep only active people, cut the people who are gone more than 30 days to start, then 21, then 14 (as your clan size and activity grows), but not lower than 14 because sometimes even active players go on vacation and such.  usually if people are gone more than two weeks without saying though, they are gone for an extended period, so hopefully that knowledge helps.

Cheers! That helps a lot! What places are best for recruiting? I don't really have the time to spare to constantly type out new messages everywhere but where do you find works best between in-game chat, in missions (if the situation arises), these forums, reddit forums, discord, or any other places (facebook page, twitter, other warframe websites)?

Also what's the best way to keep a clan (especially a small one like mine) active if I get busy with real life things?

Credit booster was just replaced completely by mod drop chance one in sortie rewards, while resource booster is straight up missing from sortie pool for over 2 years and nowhere in-game it is mentioned so, booster category in reward list being conveniently merged to not make the fact apparent. Why not make it more apparent what we can and can't get from sorties without resorting to looking in official drops list outside of the game?

I have played this game since the beginning. Lost access to my original account due to dirty people but it's whatever.. anyways as a vet that plays endless for hours on end, runs a newer youtube channel and has enjoyed being able to take newer players farming. I for one will say that the loot nerf has at least on xbox one killed the communities motivation to play the game. The rng of drops is bad enough as is. 73 runs of 8-10 rounds of disruption trying to get the acceltra an it never dropping i used a 50% off to buy it because the drops were not happening. Rng has issues as is. Nerfing it for exploits I get it. You could've just nerfed the shrine period. Add a nullifying effect to the area or something for that specific thing. You have many things looting don't work on so why not stick to that mindset with the shrine. Would've been a less irritating fix to what you wanted to nerf and it would've not caused so many angry players in the long run. Now all you need to do is add a actual end game feature we don't have to wait 8 hours in a fissure to see enemy level cap an have fun trying to stay alive against stupid high level enemies. Make the game fit us no lifers and the easy goers. It's not hard. Game mode set for like MR 15+ to give newer players motivation to get stuff an not sit in region chat all day and actually play the game. My 30 year old self has many ideas but know DE will never care about my thoughts that could help save this games content issues. Lol.. I solo lvl 4k-6k+ enemies an have fun but the 5hr wait to get the 100% boosters and see that level of enemy is a boredom factor. I enjoyed ARBITRATION when it first came out.. then yall did the nooby nerf for those MR27s who cry it's to hard they get one shotted and die.. I want stuff to one shot and be hard.. otherwise farming mods is pointless to do in warframe because you can beat everything in the game having almost nothing. Sad truth but has been proven time an time again. Cater to both new players and vets. DE you guys claim your aim is to *Balance* things for players.. then balance vets to new players needs as well. To me. A vet don't mean those who hit max mastery rank. Vets are those who have played hundreds of days or close to at the least.  Not these guys who was gifted everything an carried on xp farms to boost their MR then claim they are vets. Lol.. I want content for actual vets. Us vets teach your new players how to play the game since the beginning because you guys lack proper tutorials in this game. The least you could do is show appreciation towards the vets. End of point.

Newer to the youtube thing an make my videos fully detailed so people don't get poser builds wasting time an forma. But if you want to see how actual vets get down an what real end game content builds can handle check out my 3+ hr runs an see the weapon damage outputs and such. Stealth frame i use for more loot but the damage output of my guns.. I do my weapon build test there because the simulator is trash an needs to be able to spawn enemy at any level and not be mastery locked.
