General

Overall i will make the game purely focused on gameplay and progression, not much about lore. There will be no MR system, and the way you gain affinity will prevent leeching. Also the way you get weapons and mods will be changed as well. My game will not be free to play, but there wont be any micro transactions, meaning no plat or trading. Main reason is to prevent new players from simply buying a ton of plat and then buying all god tier mods weapons and frames and win the game. Meaning everyone will progress through the game the normal way.

Missions

All planets will be available from the start, which each planet having unique enemy variants, like how some planets have that currently, like frontier grineer on earth and arid grineer on mars. Variants will carry different weapons too. There will also be planet exclusive enemies, namely based on the frame you get from the planet's boss.

There will be no more endless missions and instead, there will be higher difficulties of every node which you can choose, which this will be the main way that you will level your mods, more on that later.

This is how endless missions will be changed.

Defense: 10 waves

Survival: 10 minutes

Excavation: 5 Excavators

Interception:2 Rounds

Defection: 2 Defector Squads

Disruption: 3 Rounds (Each round will have 2 Conduits instead of 4)

For higher difficulty settings, each normal node will have 5 difficulties, and elite nodes will have 10

Higher difficulties will have higher level enemies, more eximus enemies and planet exclusive enemies.

For spy missions, there will be a large pool of spy vaults the game will randomly select, based on the difficulty you selected. Meaning harder and longer spy vaults on higher difficulties.

For rescue missions.more consoles you have to hack and you have to rescue more than 1 rescue target.

For Sabotage, you may have more sabotage objectives to do.

For Capture, there will be better security around the capture target at higher difficulties, also you have multiple capture targets too.

For Assassination missions, you don't just rush to the boss anymore, instead you have to do 2 objectives to draw out the boss in order to fight them. There can be also a time limit to kill the boss and extract upon finishing the 2 objectives, usually depending on the objective that you have to do. Higher difficulty assassination missions will have the boss gain abilities from the warframe you get from killing the boss. For example, fighting Vay Hek on earth on the highest difficuity will prob mean you have to deal with him having all 4 of Hydroid's abilities,on top of the abilities Vay Hek already has. Also, there will only be 4 difficulty options for both normal and elite difficulties, due to the fact that you only need he blueprint and the 3 warframe parts.

Generally planet exclusive enemies will also have some abilities from the warframe you get on the planet.

Since each planet have a warframe tied to it,every warframe release will come with a new planet and boss, alongside new enemies as well.

To unlock eltie nodes for the planet, you have to first complete every normal node, including all difficulties. Meaning getting primed mods is still a late game thing.

Difficulty will also affect enemy AI and spawns, higher difficulties will have the enemy be smarter and use flaking tatics instead of rushing in head first, and more heavy units will spawn too.

Weapons

The way you get weapons will be changed as well, instead of simply buying them form the market,it is now tech tree based. Meaning each faction and  each weapon type for Primaries,Secondaries and melee will have their own set of weapons, from tier 1 to tier 10. You have to max out a weapon to go to the next tier. Each faction will have their own unique traits. Some weapons will also have variants, like prime, wraith, vandal, mutalist and prisma.

To get weapon variants, you have to do elite version of nodes to get converters, since elite version of missions have 10 difficulties, the tier of the weapon converters you will get will be based on that.

But you have to charge the converters before you can apply them. To charge them you have to do missions in the void for prime and prisma converters,Derelict for mutalist ,Kuva Fortress for wraith and a new corpus themed location for vandal.

Modular weapons will no longer be a thing, and they will be incorporated to the tech trees, meaning you can see a catchmoon at tier 10 of one of the Corpus's secondary tech tree lines.

Mods

The way you get mods and level them will be drastically different. You now get and level mods by doing missions. Endo and Kuva are now endgame resources, and are use for rivens, endo for leveling rivens and kuva for rolling them. You get them both as a reward for doing elite node missions that are higher than the 5th difficulty. Also there will also be primed varients of most mods

Normal mods will have 5 ranks, while primed mods will have 10. You get and level normal mods from normal mission nodes, while you get primed from elite mission nodes.

For example to get Point Strike, you have to do earth defense on the first difficulty to get the mod at rank 1,doing the mission at the 2nd difficulty will upgrade the mod to rank 2,3 difficulty rank 3 and so on until you reach max rank.

Base damage and multishot mods will be now late game mods, you will get and level them from killing eidolons and orb mothers respectively. There will also be elite versions of said grand bosses to be able to get the primed variant.

For mods obtained from bounties, there will be a bounty tied to each bounty mod, with elite versions too for primed variants, and difficulty options to level mods too.

Operator and Focus

Those will be unlocked upon having your 5th warframe, and will work just like the actual game, not much ideas for them.

Amps

The way you obtain them will remain unchanged

Syndicates

There will be no more negative standing business, meaning you can max all of them out. For syndicate weapons, they will be now converters instead, and to charge them, there will be a unique mission tied to the converter you have to complete.

Rivens

You now get them from difficulty 10 elite nodes, you still have to unveil them though, and since there are only obtainable from said mission, you are best to have rank 9 primed mods loadouts before even attempting a difficulty 10 elite node if you don't want to fail.

General balancing

Weapons based on tier and mod stats will be automatically balanced based on the mission you are doing,so you can just bring in a top tier weapon decked with rank 10 primed mods and win normal mission nodes like a cakewalk. The reason you have to upgrade your mods is to be able to do higher difficulty missions.

Enemy scaling will be reworked as well so it wont be 'i one shot you you one shot me'. There will be a damage cap on both sides, which will be affected on mission difficulty level and how you have modded you stuff. This is also a good way to reduce power creep as well.

Ra.ids

Raids will be making a return in my version of the game, and they will be a real challenge and the endgame, tier 10 weapons decked with rank 10 primed mods will be a must have here, unless you want to constantly die and be a detriment to your squad. Also raids will be largely based on normal mission and bounty objectives ending with a boss fight,to prevent fancy mechanics from bugging out every update. It will be similar to the assault game mode found on Kuva fortress except extended and it ends with a boss fight.

New raids will be constantly added, each with different rewards, namely in the form of arcanes

Warframes

The main source of warframes will now be from bosses

Prime frames can be obtained from elite assassination nodes

Prime frames will be a direct upgrade from their normal variants, just like in the actual game.

Not all frames will have prime variants, for those who don't have primed variants, there will be umbra variants instead, which will be obtained in the same way as primed frames.

Umbra frames mainly feature increased survivability ,and have one of his'her abilities slightly modified to better fight sentients. Umbra frames will also have the advantage of being able to fight when you are in operator mode.

Matchmaking

You can now have white and black lists to filter out frames you don't want to play with or frames you only want to see, which can be handy for better pub games.
