Ropalolyst Grab question

How do you get out of it? I heard operator and void mode but im in ash, he grabs me. I die. i respawn and he immediatley #*!%ing grabs and I die AGAIN. I was having issues with pub so i went solo and i cant get past is relentless #*!%ing death grab where i can push no buttons. I can't activate operator mode at all. I just die.

Don't get grabbed?

You might be able to mash melee, not sure sorry. 

If you don't get close, it shouldn't be able to grab you.

that seems janky. So if i get grabbed once its pretty much all over

What frame/s are you using? They may simply be too squishy to take the hit.

If you're going solo, I'd personally recommend Oberon with the Phoenix Renewal augment. I'd assume Inaros would also be a solid choice.

If you solo, you will always get grabbed. So couple of options here:

1. have a strong operator to save your frame

2. use wukong, more revives

3. sometimes boss let go of you between grabs, jump off the edge seems to buy you some time

or, just go with a group, much faster and easier.

I use Loki Prime as the Ropalolyst can't hit what it can't see (to some extent, the claw beams still seem to find me)

If in a group stay away from getting under the Ropalolyst or to close to being under it.

I find Inaros takes the damage really well, get picked up just hang around enjoy the view until the Ropalolyst decides to let you go, lol

Funny, I soloed him about 20 times on my squishy Ivara and didn't get grabbed once. I went in ONCE on Rhino, and what do you know, I got grabbed.

You know you can hide behind those blocks and bait it so you can hit its weak spots. Thats how I did it after taking care of the trash mobs. 

The problem I had with the fight was mostly just at the beginning getting nuked. Learned pretty quick just after cutscene is over....gtfo and move straight towards one of the towers and not get hit by electricity on the lines..

I just hide behind its azzhole and it could not grab me.

Need to "ding" its Synovia anyway.

I just go operator mode after I got grabbed. It has this 5 seconds animation though before you can even use operator mode, where your warframe will shake its head. It could be your frame dies out before you can even go operator mode.
