Conclave needs to become universal

Conclave as it is right now is just too isolated from the rest of the game. Ranging from the mods, to the skins and even the very upgrades that you have invested on your weapons, being basically either made naught in this minigame, or worse, have it be practically nonexistent for the rest of the game despite the time and effort put into farming it in the conclave.

 

So my suggestion, is to remove the restrictions. If you already bought a weapon skin, you shouldn’t have to buy again regardless of where you got it. If you invested formas and potatoes into your gear then it should be applied across the board, not needing you to waste more resources that could have been used elsewhere. While if you spent a lot of time farming mods, then those mods shouldn’t be restricted to the single game mode you farmed them in, but useable for the whole game.

Conclave, for as different as it may be, is still part of a bigger looting shooter game, so it’s rewards should be rewarding not just based in the small box of PvP, but also rewarding for the game as a whole. Because it still takes time and effort to play the Conclave just like any other game mode, but if all of the gaming progression is made PvE exclusive, then no player can truly invest on PvP without being cheated off the rest of the game.

Whether it was an afterthought or not is irrelevant. It’s a game mode that was created because there was many people that requested. And like any other game mode, including the ones that didn’t exist from the start, it should be updated and maintained. 

Not everyone may be PvP “fans”, but you haters aren’t the majority either. So take your toxicity elsewhere.

you really think there are more pvp players than pve??? i think you're delusional.

What I’m saying that most players are at least willing enough to give pvp a try once in a while. Most people are not allergic to playing against other players, you know?

It’s just much like any other mode, if the rewards are not very useable, then most will farm something else instead.

Like for example, would you bother doing any bounties on Cetus, if the items and resources there were only useable in Cetus? You could spend hours fishing, hunting eidolons and what not, but then nothing of it will work on Fortuna  nor on the Sorties, nor on any other tilset ever. Some people may still do it for “fun”, but would you spend anywhere as much time there if all items there were excluded from everwhere else?

No one here wants to invest much time in a game mode, if it means that you miss-out everything else with next to nothing in return. The Conclave is no exception to this, which is why the majority wont bother to play it that much, even if they find it ok.
